A good hotel for families with children
Pros:

We really loved the entertainment team! They truly live and breathe what they do—always cheerful and fantastic at getting the kids involved in fun games and dancing.

The food was varied and delicious; we were even pleasantly surprised to find touches of Moldovan cuisine :)

The pools were spotless, and the kids' pool with the slides was a definite favorite. A big plus for me was that the evening shows wrapped up by 11 PM, unlike many other hotels where noise goes on until 2 or 3 in the morning.

Having the beach just a minute’s walk away was wonderful, and with plenty of pools around, none of them ever felt overcrowded.

Cons:

- The bed was hard and uncomfortable.
- An outdoor night light shone directly into our room, making it difficult to sleep properly.
- Housekeeping only came 3 times from Monday to Friday. On one occasion, they came to clean at 3 PM and woke up our sleeping child, which was quite frustrating.

Το προσωπικό ηταν ευγενέστατο και πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει. Η τοποθεσία ηταν ιδανική καθώς ηταν πολύ κοντά τόσο στο αεροδρόμιο όσο και στην πόλη της Ρόδου

Αξιότιμη Διεύθυνση του Sunshine Rhodes Hotel,
θα ήθελα να εκφράσω επίσημα τη δυσαρέσκειά μου σχετικά με τις συνθήκες διαμονής μου και των παιδιών μας στο ξενοδοχείο σας.
Από την πρώτη ημέρα της διαμονής μας παρουσιάστηκαν μια σειρά από προβλήματα, τα οποία θεωρώ ότι δεν συνάδουν με τις υπηρεσίες και τις συνθήκες που αναμένονται από ένα ξενοδοχείο 4 αστέρων.
Συγκεκριμένα:
• Την πρώτη ημέρα βρέθηκε κατσαρίδα μέσα στο δωμάτιο. Ενημέρωσα άμεσα τη ρεσεψιόν και η απάντηση που έλαβα ήταν ότι πιθανότατα μπήκε από το ανοιχτό παράθυρο του μπάνιου. Μου προτάθηκε αλλαγή δωματίου, την οποία εκείνη τη στιγμή δεν επέλεξα λόγω της κούρασης και της ταλαιπωρίας που θα συνεπαγόταν η εκ νέου μεταφορά όλων των προσωπικών αντικειμένων και των πραγμάτων των παιδιών. Ζήτησα απλώς εντομοκτόνο ώστε να αντιμετωπίσω η ίδια το πρόβλημα.
• . Καθώς δεν υπάρχουν σίτες, το δωμάτιο γεμίζει κουνούπια, δημιουργώντας ακόμη μεγαλύτερη ενόχληση, ιδιαίτερα με παιδιά.
• Κατά τις βραδινές ώρες υπάρχει έντονη και δυσάρεστη οσμή αποχέτευσης που προέρχεται από το σιφόνι του μπάνιου.
• Στο δωμάτιο υπάρχουν επίσης εμφανείς κακοτεχνίες, οι οποίες υποβαθμίζουν περαιτέρω την ποιότητα της διαμονής.
Τέλος, όταν ρώτησα εάν θα μπορούσε ο σύζυγος μου να επισκεφθεί για λίγες ώρες την οικογένειά μου και να χρησιμοποιήσω την πισίνα(χωρίς να κάνει χρήση των υπηρεσιών του φαγητού και των ποτών) μαζί με τα παιδιά μου, ενημερώθηκα ότι απαιτείται χρέωση 50€ . Θα παρακαλούσα να μας γνωστοποιηθεί η επίσημη πολιτική και ο σχετικός τιμοκατάλογος του ξενοδοχείου που προβλέπει τη συγκεκριμένη χρέωση.
Μεμονωμένα, κάποιο από τα παραπάνω προβλήματα ενδεχομένως να μπορούσε να θεωρηθεί ένα ατυχές περιστατικό. Όταν όμως παρουσιάζονται σωρευτικά κατσαρίδα στο δωμάτιο, κουνούπια λόγω της ανάγκης να παραμένουν ανοιχτά τα παράθυρα, οσμή αποχέτευσης και κακοτεχνίες, θεωρώ ότι υπάρχει πλέον ουσιαστικό ζήτημα ως προς την ποιότητα της παρεχόμενης διαμονής.

Pros:

Sunshine Hotel is an older hotel, but it is beautiful, full of greenery, and the location itself has a really charming atmosphere.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the overall experience is ruined by the staff. Many employees seem poorly trained, especially some of the lifeguards. Their attitude toward guests is rude, unprofessional and sometimes shockingly disrespectful. They behave more like security guards than hospitality staff.

The food is honestly terrible. Very poor quality, badly prepared, and in my opinion the kitchen standards are far below what you would expect from a hotel. The whole kitchen team seriously needs better training, supervision and hygiene standards.

It is really a shame because the hotel itself has so much potential, but the poor food and bad attitude of some employees completely destroy the experience.
