Ideal location to get around the city
Pros:

We stayed here for access to Muurayfield stadium and it was ideal. The location of the hotel is ideal for transport too as the tram stop is round the corner. Edinburgh Haymarket station is just across the road too.
Special thanks to Max who was on the front desk for a great welcome and was very helpful.
The room we had was a family room and spotless on arrival. Considering it's location the room we had was lovely and quiet.

Consigliato! Se dovessi tornare ad Edimburgo, ci tornerò!
Pros:

Camera accogliente e pulita. Letti comodi. La struttura è antica e bellissima. Avevamo la stanza con vista sul viale. Ottima posizione, a 10 minuti dal centro e quartiere ben collegato. Ho dormito una notte, ma se fosse stata disponibile avrei aggiunto un’altra notte.

Room was nice and big good for our last day's so we could get packed for long trip home

Cons:

No air-conditioning or fan. Room was hot and couldn't leave windows/curtains open because the sun would heat up the room more.

Pros:

Really quaint hotel with nice location, comfy bed and fabulous staff! Be careful about using the Freenow app in Edinburgh for taxis! We had to be somewhere and the app first said the driver would arrive 10 minutes late… it was 2 minutes away when we suddenly got a message that the driver cancelled! HOWEVER… Haymarket staff jumped right in and had a taxi there in 2 minutes! Highly recommend!

No AC, but nice breeze from window.

Overall lovely hotel, good foood and clean and comfy. But breakfast was too slow and no tv in room during the World Cup.
Pros:

Lovely comfy bed and room and spacious

Cons:

Took a really long time to get the breakfast so delayed us getting out by 45 minutes.
Tv in room had no signal and they couldn’t fix it.

Pros:

Unser gebuchtes Zimmer ist sehr groß und hat ein ausreichend großes Bad sowie Platz für Koffer.
Es liegt in einem Nebengebäude, wir waren leider direkt an der Hauseingangstür, so dass es schon mal nachts etwas trubelig wurde, aber es ist im Mai noch ok gewesen, weil man das Fenster noch schließen kann.
Das Frühstück ist toll, bei Inklusiv-Leistung kann man noch neben dem Buffet von ein paar Extras bestellen, entweder Porridge, Scottish Breakfast oder Pancakes. Herrlich.
Die Lage zur City ist passend, in 15 min Fußweg ist man direkt an der Royal Mile oder anderen zentralen Punkten.

Cons:

Es gibt keine eigenen Parkplätze, in unmittelbarer Nähe, ca 3 bis 5 min Fußweg kann man zum Teil sogar kostenlos parken. Daher achtsam sein, wenn man die Parkplätze direkt in der Straße nutzt, diese sind unter der Woche kostenpflichtig.
Wie erwähnt liegt das Zimmer in einem Nebengebäude.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, ze deden erg hun best om onze kamer vroeger beschikbaar te maken zodat ons baby'tje al een middagdutje kon doen in hun voorziene babybedje.

Beautiful heritage accomodation close to the old city
Pros:

Beautifully appointed room with high ceilings and a luxurious, heritage look. Spacious, with comfy leather armchairs, light streaming in through very tall windows. Room and attached bathroom was spotless. Great location, easy access to city. We had the hotel breakfast on a couple occasions, and this was quite delicious. Buffet selection of continental items and 1 plate of hot food cooked to order. They even had a vegetarian Scottish breakfast, which I very much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the manager who helped us get a room that was not on the top floor.

Cons:

Just be aware that this heritage property has no lifts and rooms are accessible only by stairs. They will help you with bags, but if you cannot manage stairs then, this is not the place for you. If you need a room that is not on the top floor, you should let them know beforehand (which we weren't aware of) though they still kindly accommodated our request.
