Right hotel, and number one restaurant
Pros:

This hotel is simply amazing. It has a number one rated Restaurant in the Traverse City area for multiple years in a row. Sara our server was absolutely the best. Pleasant, accommodating, attentive, and efficient. She served with a smile like we were Family. The welcoming staff and the social/bar area are outstanding. You can eat and drink at the bar, at high top tables, low tables, sit on a couch, or eat in the dining room. The place is buzzing, and the energy is exciting. Hotel accommodations are extremely clean and well maintained. The hotel is in a perfect location whether you decide to go east or west along the Grand Traverse Bay.

You can do better…
Pros:

This place is no great value. Most would expect more, given the price. The policy on housekeeping is that your room is attended to every third day, unless you specify that you want that service more often. There is a lack of places to hang damp towels in the bathroom, which gets to be a problem, given the housekeeping policy. Motel 6 with a Hilton nightly fee.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

We picked this hotel because we needed a place close to Cherry Capital Airport and Cambria was the perfect location for us. We had a 6 am flight
We were wowed by the interior when we walked thru the entrance. It appeared new however the hotel manager said it was older than we thought. It has a lovely restaurant and happy hour, a fitness room and more.
When we are in town again, we plan to book here. We felt safe and had a quiet room. Thank you

Top 2 or 3 Hotels of 100+ Stayed At Ever
Pros:

We’ve done a lot of traveling in 40+ years and stayed in over 100 hotels. This hotel has been one of the best we’ve ever stayed at (easily Top 3 or Top 2 hotels without even thinking about it). From the cleanliness throughout the hotel (in every area from room to bathroom to hallways, lobby and pool area) to responsiveness of staff (consistently brought anything we asked for to the room in less than five minutes each time) and knowledgeable/courteous staff (how often does it happen that a staff member at the night counter knows what to do and where to find it if you ask for help?)…everything was easy and carefree. Add to that the restaurant being amazing and the pool/hot tub being open 24/7, and it’s a great hotel. Even most 5-star hotels fall short in one of the above areas - this hotel did not. We also loved that we could get a huge suite with two King beds, one of them in a private room.

Wonderful option for Travers City MI
Pros:

Fabulous hotel - clean and comfortable accommodations. Great staff, restaurants on site and a shuttle to downtown’s Traverse City. Close to many of the beaches but it was nice to be just outside all the traffic and noise. Short hop to wineries of Mission Peninsula and short drive to Torch Lake or Sleeping Bear Dunes. My only issue was there was no complimentary continental breakfast but they do provide keurig coffee maker, pods and cream along with an in room fridge which made it easy for us to grab some essentials and keep them on hand in our room. Great stay - would definitely recommend for any travelers - couples, groups, family, girls trip etc! Will certainly book this hotel again for a future trip to TC!

Good to get away and be alone together.
Pros:

We have visited Traverse City may time over the years. My wife and I traveled here for Restaurant Week a few times and it was fantastic. The price for meals and the food was both affordable and fantastic. This year we decided to book a vacation without realizing it was the 100th anniversary of the Cheery Festival. We are not festival folk but that didn’t stop us from visiting our favorite restaurants and wineries. We left with a mere 5 cases of wine but we had relaxing and rejuvenating time. We would highly recommend staying at the Cambria Hotel because of the staff, the restaurant and the proximity to both peninsulas and the downtown.

Our go-to hotel in Traverse City
Pros:

We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years and have always had a good experience. It’s in a good location, has a great restaurant, is very clean inside and out, feels safe and secure with friendly and attentive staff throughout. They offer a great shuttle service to/from the airport or downtown that’s very reliable.
