Great location to be sure. And we enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast in the restaurant - great food and service. However, the furnishings and bedding in our “upgraded” room seemed worn and in need of a deep cleaning/refresh. Also, the staff seem to have trouble emailing statements out after check-out. We will probably explore other lodging options next time we’re in Lubbock - especially given the price-point.

This used to be the best hotel in Lubbock. It's in a great location for games, close to the university, etc. Staff is very nice, the lobby is beautiful. The rooms have gone downhill over the years. The pillows are the size of a throw pillow. The bathrooms need to be renovated and updated. We have found other hotels in the area that provide a cleaner option and better value. I hope someone buys this hotel and restores it back to the way it was ten years ago. I feel confident that $0 has been spent on room updates since the hotel opened.

My first visit to Lubbock has been outstanding! The Overton Hotel shuttle was at the airport upon my arrival. Amy greeted me with a warm smile; she was professional and courteous during check in . The Pecan Grill dinner staff (David and Camden) breakfast staff (Caden, Alison, Ava and Ms Oohm) provided extraordinary customer service! The meals were delicious and picture worthy. Highly recommend the Overton Hotel & Conference Center. My room was comfortable just like home.

This hotel had friendly staff and was in a very convenient location, right across from the Jones stadium at TTU. The rooms and hotel itself was clean, as well as the pool area.
