The uncomfortable bed kept rolling into each other and the breakfast was a poor choice. Only scrambled egg no poached or fried egg

Needs new tiles very mold in the the bath tiles and floor tiles.

1.The breakfast selection was great, with a good selection of breakfast items to eat..

4. There appears to be plenty of things to do at the hotel e.g. gym, swimming, padel etc.

1. My bedroom sink was partially blocked so was slow moving.
2. Bedroom could have been left with a card or staff could have told me how to obtain use of the hotel WIFI
3. Check out being 11am instead of 12pm
4. Breakfast time closing at 9am instead of 10am during the week

The location is very convenient for me. Bar is excellent as is the Starbucks. Not used the gym facilities so not fair to comment.
My room was very tired. The bathroom needed a serious makeover, rust stains in the bath, black mould on the grouting. The wall by the loo had marks on - needed a deep clean.
Breakfast was ok depending on timing. Good when it comes out fresh but deteriorates under the lamps after a while. Staff were very friendly. Room really clean and well equipped
Not just this hotel but typical all over Britain. 30 degree day and no Aircon. Not the hotels fault but room fan would have been a bonus
Nice atmosphere and restaurant/bar with nice staff
The shower was a climb up to get into the tub - shower and almost slipped getting in. Then the water leaked out under the shower glass screen door directly in the floor and used 2-3 towels just to soak it up. Also with refurbishment actively being completed it was a hike up and down stairs to get to our wing and room.

Lovely hotel, really beautiful building. The inside is very spacious and clean. The check in staff were helpful particularly due to renovations taking place, they explained the difficult route we had to take to get to the room due to these renovations and even offered to take us so we didn’t get lost.
