Hassle free and relaxing
Pros:

Great location, quiet but just a block back from the beach and Macrossan St restaurants and shops

Cons:

Everything about the property was clean and well kept. A warmer/heavier blanket (even if it’s just a spare with the room) would be appreciated in the winter months.

We had a lovely time in Port Douglas retreat
Pros:

The staff were lovely. The pool was great as it was slightly heated. The bed was comfy, the balcony was nice overlooking the pool. It was in a great location so close to the main street with coffee shops, shops and restaurants. The secure parking was good too.

Cons:

The kitchen was very small but good enough for a short stay.

Cute place, outdated room
Pros:

It’s a nice place on a good location. Close to shops, beach and marina. It has a cute little pool in a beautiful garden.

Cons:

The room and bathroom were outdated. The bed not comfortable. The view: road, parked cars underneath the building and containers. I politely asked the lady for another room. Everything was booked, but she was willing to give a refund if I wanted to leave. I thanked her, looked around and noticed that all hotels were booked (holiday). I told her I would stay and thanked her again. Her partner, though, had heard just a fraction of my story and he interfered. He was rude. Mocking me, telling me to just shut the curtains. Look, you can have the best looking accomodation in the world, but hospitality wins. And this is not even the best looking accomodation. Behave. I never felt welcome in this place.

Beautiful decor and clean toilet!

Cons:

The floors were very dusty when we checked in. But all good after we use wet wipes to clean a little.

Great location, with excellent amenities, friendly staff and was clean and tidy.
Pros:

Great location, easy to walk to the marina, the main township and Four Mile beach. The facilities were excellent. The pool was clean and heated and the pool area had good seating / sun lounges, We used the BBQ facilities a few times and the BBQ worked well and we ate at the tables and chairs. Check in and out was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well set out and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette and nice seating area on the balcony. Overall we were very happy and enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

The bed was a bit firm for us.

Very pleasant. Would be happy to rebook. Advice is to book a top floor pool view for a lighter outlook.

Pros:

Great location.. central with a very easy walk to the town, restaurants and beach.
Clean room with a nice kingsize bed, small kitchenette & cute balcony with a view over the pool area.

Cons:

Shower was really small triangular shape and was not practical or comfortable when trying to wash hair after the beach/pool.

We enjoyed our stay due to the ideal location close to town, and the kindness of our hosts.
Pros:

The location is fantastic. The hosts were kind and attentive and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The shower was very small to the point of only just being usable and the facilities are due an update.
