Beds were comfortable and the restaurant refurbishment was lovely.
Pillows were a bit too thin.
Staff are lovely. The rooms are very clean and tidy and room serviced daily.
There’s no kitchenette and so you have to fill the jug and wash dishes in the bathroom. The shower sprays everywhere so bathroom can get quite wet after shower.
Central to town. Was just ok for the price.
Room was dated. Reception for my phone (spark network) was awful. Very had to do business for work in the room I was in.

Location as was attending function in hotel restaurant.
First room allocated had not been cleaned and made up from previous guests, had to go back to reception and ask for a new room. Room very dated, old beds, crack in handbasin, shower door off rollers, shower drain top loose in shower, no compendium. Fire alarm went off around 9 pm, total confusion, no communication to guests, no one checked rooms, no one appeared to be in charge, would hate to think of consequences if real emergency. Breakfast disappointing.
