Great hotel, lovely staff who are beyond a doubt a credit to company. We were part of a large group of football team attending a tournament and the staff were really hospitable and understanding, from chatting in Starbucks to resetting the alarm call in the bathroom, an experience and memorable time.

Breakfast a little hit and miss.. Tea bags were awful in restaurant.. Only one sweet treat in a room for two??!! Huge room could have done with a little table and two chairs
The facilities, the cleanliness, staff. It was exceeded my expectations.

Good location, smooth parking, lovely friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed.
But- shocking sound proofing. I was on the first floor and there was a wedding on until past 1am (sunday night/monday morning). Loud music with heavy bass that you could hear extremely clearly through the walls/floor to the point sleep was impossible.
I understand hotels hold events, and on a higher floor it was likely fine! But for a quick stay away for an important early work morning it was not able to offer a good night/any sleep on the first floor. Would much rather have not been offered any room than shoved just above a late night event.
New refurbished rooms with excellent shower in the en suite, good size Smart TV and also there was kettle iron and hair dryer in the rooms.
The staff and service were excellent, friendly and considerate. They worked as a well drilled team.
Rooms could have done with air conditioning during the recent heatwave. A fan was supplied which helped.
Went to motown party night ( apparently all future party events have now been cancelled !) loved the new menu that was on offer. Had plenty to dance to sad that there is no more (hence 3 stars)

The room was hot and stuffy. Air conditioning is needed.
Nothing was a trouble
The bed legs at a slight angle .Easy to catch your feet when walking around the room.
Bed was comfortable. Very spacious room. The pillows were rather hard.
A long walk from the lift to the room. Building work in the corridor near my room from 7.50 am . This disturbed my concentration for planning my day. There was no air con and it was very hot but appreciate this wasn't advertised as a p[art of the accommodation.
The room was far too hot, the windows did not open very far and the room i had was on level 1 with a lot of noise outside all night
I have had a great stay at Village Hotel Nottingham. A special mention to Andy in the bar and restaurant who has been incredibly friendly, attentive, and made me feel really welcome throughout my Stay. Excellent service with a smile — he’s a real credit to the hotel. Thank you, Andy!
Staff were professional and helpful.
Bedroom was clean comfortable and fully equipped, however the exceptional weather conditions required air conditioning which was lacking throughout the hotel, and specifically in the bedroom, which made sleeping difficult.
I was not able to get a fan in the room on the first night, as there wasn’t any available until my second night stay.
Breakfast was basic.

Car parking on site was very good.
Hotel is very clean and well maintained.
Rooms are comfortable, with hair drier, iron and iron board.
I would Reccommed a visit to family and friends.
Spa facilities are great, but can limit access when used by leisure members not residing in the hotel.
