Easy to find

Cons:

Step up shower awkward for an older person, the room was freezing when we walked in, no heat in the bathroom.
Bed wasn’t very comfy, though they did have electric blankets on the bed, we had to pull the bed away from the wall to get to the power to plug them in.

The location is good. Close to SH5 and the lake

Cons:

The breakfast was average, powdered eggs, broiled bacon, and instant coffee. I would rather pay more and get better breakfast. The walls in the rooms are paper thin.

Loved the location into town and the friendly staff, rooms were easy to find with ample parking available!
Buffet was good, a nice selection available but not a lot to choose from

Cons:

The wifi kept cutting in and out and not all channels are available on Sky, otherwise overall a great stay

Pros:

A very enjoyable stay with excellent service and quality. Would definitely return.

Cons:

Wifi was flakey at night. But not the reason we were there so did not matter at all. Just used data for a hour instead via mobile tethering

Affordable price with basics, close enough to town
Pros:

Lovely smile from a receptionist on arrival along with a bottle of milk, and the affordable price.

Cons:

I knew there’s no kitchen in our room but plates and basic cutlery would have been nice (we had cups, tea spoons and wine glasses).

Not a bad experience but below expectations
Pros:

Location.

Cons:

The room is old but clean and the bed is comfortable. Price is cheaper than others quoting in Taupō but expensive as compared with other places I travelled like kiakuora Nelson Christchurch Auckland, given the quality.
