Sun Gardens Dubrovnik

On our last day here and have had the best holiday.
The facilities were great and all the staff were amazing!
The breakfast is fantastic and all the restaurants in the resort were brilliant.
Loads of space, loads of pools and so much to do - plus a short taxi ride into Dubrovnik and the Old Town.

We absolutely loved the hotel — honestly, everything was perfect. Everything is done to a very high standard.
As you get older, you really start to understand how important it is to sleep on the right bed and with the right pillows. And this hotel has absolutely amazing mattresses and pillows.
The breakfasts are just insane — literally everything you could possibly want is there. The staff are outstanding, and the grounds are unbelievably beautiful.
Everything is truly top class.

We are less than 24 hours into our stay, but I had to write this review now as the hospitality and care is so world class.
My wife and I arrived here with our 2 year old daughter and immediately felt the level of hospitality that this hotel holds themself to. The rooms are immaculate and the lobby is gorgeous, but the real thing that stood out was the team that we have met and interacted with along the way.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and walked to the front desk. We then checked in with a team member named Gabriela who IS THE HIGHLIGHT of our trip.
Gabriela didn’t just show my wife and I care, she immediately connected with our daughter and talked with her like she was the most important guest that day. This along would have been enough to make any parent feel happy and comfortable in a new environment and Gabriela finished our conversation by asking Millie what her favorite ice cream flavor was (chocolate).
I didn’t think anything of this and we we were escorted to our room via golf cart (my daughter’s highlight of the trip as she could not stop giggling).
The next morning, we walked into the lobby and saw that Gabriela was approaching us with a brown bag that said our daughter’s name on it. When we opened it, we found chocolate ice cream and other treats that Gabriela picked up on her way to work! Mind you, she worked till 11pm and was up at 6am for work! How did she have time to do that? And wouldn’t anyone just want to go home and go to sleep before working the next morning?
This is hospitality and REAL care for people. Not guests- not customers- just people
For any manager, owner, or team member who works here, you have so much to be proud of and you are making memories that will last a lifetime.

High quality hotel with stunning views and excellent facilities. We visited during the last week of April, which felt like the perfect time to go as the weather was lovely, but the hotel was still very quiet, and we often had the pool area almost exclusively to ourselves.

The room was excellent and had everything you would need and expect in a 5* resort.

The breakfast selection was outstanding with everything you could want, including plenty of clearly labelled vegetarian options. There was also a good choice of restaurants within the hotel for lunch and dinner, although all very expensive. All of the restaurants had vegetarian options, and the staff were also happy to cater to special requests, which we really appreciated. Plus they were all open despite it being low season.

The spa was another highlight; large, relaxing, and is complimentary for hotel guests with a separate adults only area from the indoor pool which children can use.

The main downside is the location. The hotel is a 20-minute Uber ride into the Old Town, so if you want to eat or explore elsewhere you will need to travel by car. The only improvement would be if the hotel offered an all inclusive or full board option, as the facilities are so good you could easily spend your whole stay there without needing to leave.

Overall, the hotel felt like a true luxury five star experience, and I would definitely recommend it. One of the best hotels we’ve been too.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik. My husband and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and the staff made us feel very special. The room and the view were incredible. The outdoor areas very comfortable and well maintained. Food was delicious. Everything was perfect!

Chef Mario makes the best omelets! The food is always fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. He is also very friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

Ми були тут на початку сезону — і це був чудовий відпочинок. Сонечко світило, співали пташки, а вся територія нагадувала доглянуті сади: дуже зелено, чисто та затишно. З перших хвилин персонал зустрів нас дуже привітно та навіть запропонував покращений варіант номера, оскільки донька була на милицях. Нам підібрали житло, до якого було легко дістатися — це було дуже турботливо.
Ми орендували номер із двома спальнями, і в кожній був власний санвузол. Також у номері була кухня та окрема кімната для вечірніх розмов і відпочинку. Ліжка були дуже зручні, з хорошими матрацами. Під час заселення нам надали по одній ковдрі на ліжко, але після нашого прохання додаткові ковдри та подушки швидко принесли в номер.
Територія комплексу велика, дуже доглянута та має прекрасний вид на море й острови. Коли ми приїхали, працював лише один басейн, але біля нього було багато лежаків, усе було чисто й охайно.
Окремо хочеться відзначити ресторани — їжа була дуже смачна, а сервіс привітний і доброзичливий. Сніданки були хороші та різноманітні, хоча наступного разу хотілося б побачити ще більше локальних продуктів і місцевих страв.
У цілому ми залишилися дуже задоволені відпочинком і з радістю повернулися б сюди ще раз.
