Horrible. Dirty. Go to Village Ashton instead.

Check in was ok

Cons:

Room 226. King Room. Toilet didn't flush and was dirty - which created some issues!! There is a large refuse site at the back of the hotel and works started at 0700am with trucks and beeping. The lift was inoperable throughout the stay and we were on the 2nd floor. Breakfast (even though we didn't attend until 10am - it was supposedly served until 1030am) was cold / not much left. For Car Parking you can't use the pay terminal in reception - you have to download an app to pay. Its advertised as Just Park but its changed now to Ring GO. Complicated! All in all a horrible place. Stay at Ashton instead. We did complain but didn't get offered a refund just got offered a free coffee! Also breakfast (can pre-order at reduced rate £12.50 the day before - don't get caught out because you can do this when you turn up anyway...)

I would book the hotel again if needed
Pros:

I really enjoyed the variety on ofder for breakfast it was hot and easy to access

Venue was great

Only disappointment was as a guest you had to pay for parking.

Cons:

Paying for parking.

Room hada strong smell of cleaning chemicals but the lady in reception changed my to another room so all good in the end.
