Great location and very helpful staff.
Pros:

Room was comfortable and clean. The staff we interacted with were fantastic and very helpful. The hotel is a beautiful property, and we took advantage of the restaurants and bars on site. With the location being right by Canal St, it was close to a lot of the places we wanted to visit.

Cons:

Bathroom was a little strange. The toilet was so close to the shower that we had to sit a little sideways. Shower was also quite small. Twice we stopped by the guest services desk and had to wait longer than expected for someone to help us. Both times had no one there when we stopped by, and both times were mid-morning during the week.

Prachtig hotel met uitgebreide service, goede faciliteiten en prima lokatie
Pros:

De lokatie is prima, in het centrum vlakbij Bourbon Street. Het is een prachtig, historisch gebouw met moderne faciliteiten en goede service (2 x daags). Het buitenzwembad heeft veel ligstoelen eromheen en een bar. Je krijgt water en kunt eten en drinken bestellen. Het is daar heerlijk. De fitness is goed. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Er stond een wachtrij om te kunnen ontbijten. Het leek alsof er daar te weinig personeel was, waar er juist bij aankomst en parkeren van je auto/koffers brengen wel teveel personeel aanwezig leek. Dat vond ik een beetje overweldigend als je aankomt en meerdere mensen op je koffers duiken (met alle goede bedoelingen).

Jazz at the front desk is the best!
Pros:

Jazz was amazing help and showed top tier customer service and guest hospitality. She was willing to help with my corn situation with no judgement and went the extra mile to get me butter. She deserves a raise. I will be back just not with a tender date.

We liked the hotel it was our 30th anniversary, and you are centrally located.
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were soft. The room was very clean. The people at the desk were polite and friendly very nicely dressed and hair well done. The porters at the front of the hotel were very nice and friendly.

Cons:

The room was across from the elevators, The front entrance way was dark and unappealing, the back entrance also. The Blue Room was tacky. The people working in the Blue Room uniforms looked uncleaned, not all but some.

HOUSEKEEPING FAIL
Pros:

Check in was great. Mercy at front desk, excellent.Valet service very good. Received a email that we were being upgraded to a suite, but when we arrived at the hotel it was sold out. For us it was not an issue. The next day we left our room at 9:30 am and when we return at 3:30 housekeeping never made up room. I expect better service at a Waldorf property. If it wasn’t for housekeeping the Roosevelt would receive an excellent rating.

Excellent Customer Service!
Pros:

I called The Roosevelt this morning and spoke with Travis Paisant. I explained that my son and his girlfriend were checking in later today and tomorrow is his birthday. I asked Travis if there was anything special the hotel might be able to do to make their trip even more special. Travis quickly looked up his reservation and began typing away. He offered wonderful ideas and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the service he provided. Above and beyond for sure, such as a personalized birthday card from my husband and me, a $100 beverage voucher for them to enjoy while there, as well as an upgraded room. I was so taken with his friendliness and hospitality that I promised to write him a special review, so here I am, keeping my word. Travis is a wonderful employee who represents the hotel with class and warmth. I hope he gets the praise he deserves from his bosses!!

The stay was wonderful
Pros:

The room was excellent, the location where we were was excellent. the bed was comfortable and the sitting area was very comfortable.

Cons:

I didn't to much care for the pillows. The parking for valet is too expensive. if we are paying a lot to stay parking should be free.
