Jazz was amazing help and showed top tier customer service and guest hospitality. She was willing to help with my corn situation with no judgement and went the extra mile to get me butter. She deserves a raise. I will be back just not with a tender date.
The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were soft. The room was very clean. The people at the desk were polite and friendly very nicely dressed and hair well done. The porters at the front of the hotel were very nice and friendly.
The room was across from the elevators, The front entrance way was dark and unappealing, the back entrance also. The Blue Room was tacky. The people working in the Blue Room uniforms looked uncleaned, not all but some.
Fantastic old style hotel with excellent staff and sizeable rooms.
Pool was shallow and small.
Check in was great. Mercy at front desk, excellent.Valet service very good. Received a email that we were being upgraded to a suite, but when we arrived at the hotel it was sold out. For us it was not an issue. The next day we left our room at 9:30 am and when we return at 3:30 housekeeping never made up room. I expect better service at a Waldorf property. If it wasn’t for housekeeping the Roosevelt would receive an excellent rating.
I called The Roosevelt this morning and spoke with Travis Paisant. I explained that my son and his girlfriend were checking in later today and tomorrow is his birthday. I asked Travis if there was anything special the hotel might be able to do to make their trip even more special. Travis quickly looked up his reservation and began typing away. He offered wonderful ideas and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the service he provided. Above and beyond for sure, such as a personalized birthday card from my husband and me, a $100 beverage voucher for them to enjoy while there, as well as an upgraded room. I was so taken with his friendliness and hospitality that I promised to write him a special review, so here I am, keeping my word. Travis is a wonderful employee who represents the hotel with class and warmth. I hope he gets the praise he deserves from his bosses!!
The room was excellent, the location where we were was excellent. the bed was comfortable and the sitting area was very comfortable.
I didn't to much care for the pillows. The parking for valet is too expensive. if we are paying a lot to stay parking should be free.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A FIVE-STAR ANNIVERSARY EXPERIENCE AT THE WALDORF ASTORIA! 🥂✨
From the moment we booked our Friday–Sunday stay, we felt like we were already being welcomed! Our assigned attendant, Jasmine, never even met us in person, yet somehow managed to make us feel right at home before we arrived. Talk about going ABOVE and BEYOND! 👏🏽 She made sure we knew what to expect, where to go, and how to make the most of our New Orleans experience.
And that personalized anniversary card?! 🥹❤️ It was so thoughtful and heartfelt. Then came the champagne and strawberries—what a beautiful little surprise to help us kick off our anniversary celebration! 🥂🍓
Then came Joshua at reception, and BABY… he set the tone! 😂👏🏽 He was fun, personable, warm, and knew exactly how to turn my little disappointment about not getting the complimentary upgrade I requested into a moment where I STILL felt special. That’s customer service! He gave us the inside scoop on places to go that weren’t your typical tourist spots, and let me tell you—his recommendations did NOT miss! Every tip was on point. He even sent anniversary gifts up to our room. 🥂❤️ Now THAT’S making guests feel celebrated!
Since Jasmine wasn’t working over the weekend, Arielle stepped right in and continued the amazing service. She went to work trying to get us into a speakeasy event, and I truly admired her professionalism and persistence—even when dealing with the event space became a little challenging. When that didn’t work out, she didn’t just say “sorry.” Nope! She recommended other events, and we ended up having a GREAT time. That’s what I call finding a solution! 👏🏽
And then there’s Randy… 🥰 Y’all, Randy is SOMETHING SPECIAL! As one of the bellhops, his sincere, welcoming spirit was absolutely contagious. His energy was AMAZING! He greeted us with such genuine warmth every time we saw him. And let me tell you—this gentleman has some SERIOUS strength! 😂💪🏽 He was handling those bags like they were pillows!
Our room was clean, cozy, comfortable, and had the BEST top-floor view! We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. And can we talk about that shower?! 😂🚿 Let’s just say the water came from so many angles it felt like a full-body spa treatment! Every. Part. Of. Me. Got. Some. Love. 😂🙌🏽
Overall, our stay was more than just a hotel stay—it was an EXPERIENCE. The little details, the personal touches, the recommendations, the smiles, and the genuine hospitality made us feel celebrated from beginning to end.
Waldorf Astoria, you understood the assignment! 👏🏽✨
Thank you, Jasmine, Joshua, Arielle, Randy, and the entire team for helping us kick off our anniversary celebration in true five-star fashion. 🥂❤️
Five stars? Absolutely. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Would we stay again? WITHOUT A DOUBT!
New Orleans gave us a beautiful anniversary weekend—and the Waldorf Astoria made sure we started it in STYLE! 🎷🥂💃🏽
Beautiful Hutel, very friendly and helpful staff who bent over backwards to make us comfortable and accommodate our special needs. Wonderful old world charm.
After a long travel day, it was nice to be able to drive right up to the hotel and go straight to valet. We were tired and really just wanted to get checked in and rest. One thing to be aware of is that you need to ask for assistance when you arrive. The bellmen did not automatically approach us or offer to help with our luggage, which was a little unexpected.
We checked in late, and the lobby made a nice first impression. It was beautiful and had a touch of elegance that you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Unfortunately, once we got to the room, the experience was quite different.
The rooms are extremely spacious, which we really appreciated. It was nice to have plenty of space to spread out and relax. However, the rooms themselves felt very outdated and are definitely in need of an update. The contrast between the elegant lobby and the dated guest rooms was noticeable.
Overall, I would describe our stay as average. The spacious room and elegant lobby were positives, but the outdated accommodations and lack of proactive assistance from the bell staff, and guest service kept the experience from feeling truly special. With an update to the guest rooms and a little more attentiveness from the staff, this property could be much more impressive.
Our family had a double superior room which we got as a free upgrade as diamond members. It was spacious with a separate lounge / tv area conjoined to the bedroom and a large bathroom. It was very clean and had a spectacular view. The breakfast food was underwhelming, a choice of al’a carte or buffet, which was quite confusing as we didn’t have a server to seat us. The pool was a total scam on the photos. it was tiny and definitely not for kids, it was more for adults with drinks and was situated on a rooftop with a bar. Staff were very friendly and accommodating apart from the fact that house keeping forgot to turn down our room but we immediately got it sorted and got free points as compensation. Would recommend but don’t rely on the pool. Special shoutout to the door men and valet who all were extremely helpful, chatty and knowledgeable!!
Would recommend and we will be back!😊
Our son gifted us an anniversary weekend at The Roosevelt. It is beautiful & elegant. Mercy checked us in & was extremely friendly & helpful (every time I needed something). One of the Bellhops (I think Fredrick) was very helpful. He took our picture for us & even took us to the pool rooftop & took our pic in front of cathedral. Teddy’s cafe was closed so we ate in the Fountain Lounge. It was an awesome breakfast buffet. Dinner and drinks were good too. The room was beautifully set up with a nice view.
We could love to go back. Everybody was so friendly and helpful, especially Mercy.
Le cadre, la qualité des services et la localisation
Trop de climatisation
Hotel cleanliness. Friendly staff. Nice location and walking distance to French Quarter attractions and restaurants. Public parking across the street. Comfortable bed and pillows. And mostly important given NOLA it was quiet for a good nice sleep!
Nothing.
My stay was nice , old New Orleans class .
The pictures don’t do it justice. I was met my valet they were just fine . The line to check in wasn’t too bad. The bell man took my luggage all we did was go to our room . I went for a dip in the roof top pool , that was a whole vibe in itself. I enjoyed it. Very Classy…. Then later We had a 3 course dinner in the Fountain Lounge I believe. It was delicious. I spent a little time in the Sazarac room it was old school classy . Im more of a sweet cocktail girl but I did try the main drink the Sazarac drink it wasn’t for me. We came and went in our vehicle and had no trouble with valet. Mostly all the staff I came in contact with was very nice. We also ordered room service one evening and I found myself wanting more so I ordered more . It was a lovely stay cant wait to go back
The ambiance was exceptional.
Honestly, I was with a female friend and we both were a little scared to venture out at night. I was verbally attacked by an unhoused gentleman who said he heard me talking about him earlier that day. I hadn’t said a word, let alone say anything about him. I think more security would have made me feel a bit more comfortable.
