There was scaffolding all around building and podium for work people to stand out outside my window so felt like I had to keep my blinds such the whole time.

We were on 4th floor and lift was out of service so for person with asthma it was a challenge . Also a lot of noise from renovation.

First and foremost, rats!
Around the parking area and the front entrance.

If its common around that area, they should definitely be doing some form of pest control to minimise it.

No heads up about the maintenance going on. Building is covered in scaffolding and there didn't seem to be any sense of urgency to repair the elevator.

Staff in the reception are very pleasant to talk with but it looks to be a mix of them being new or not receiving sufficient training for them to help guests with questions.
We had to ask multiple staff about the car park fees and received varying answers about the cost.
Luckily at checkout the lady understood our dillema and saw we were almost charged double what we shouldve been!

Staff should've been authorised to offer free parking to the guests to offset for the lack of elevator and all the in going maintenance on the exterior.

Other than no prior notification of the building works being carried, everything was good.

I liked everything

Sunday lift out. Bad back and all those stairs. Ladies with babies and pushchairs also having issues.

It was unnecessary for pool to be extra nominal fee

On the day of arrival I had booked a table in the restaurant downstairs. When I arrived at the restaurant waiting for someone to sit me down. Another woman was also waiting. A man came up to us and started shouting at the other woman telling her how she was banned from the restaurant and she can’t get in it. At first I thought it was a joke because of they he was, he looked at me and said it’s no joke, she is not allowed and walked away. In my mind I thought what about me, he didn’t even ask if I was waiting, he came back again to say to the this woman who was also shocked how she couldn’t enter and the other woman said what about this lady, he was like she is also banned. So I asked why I booked my table and waiting and don’t even know this lady that’s when he was like if fine follow me and took me to my seat. He did not even apologise for his assumptions or even explain how things work in the restaurant and walked away. I had to figure that myself by looking around. I felt so discriminated because of my colour. He assumed I was with the other lady because we were both black and did not even ask me if I was waiting and shouted at me too to say I’m banned too for no reason. I wasn’t comfortable eating there anymore. Other days we stayed there we went out for food as I didn’t want experience that again. I found out later that guy was called Kevin from another staff member at reception.

It was hard to find a space in the car park when the gym was busy.

nowhere to park, crack and staining of the bathroom sink, the fire alarm mounted on the ceiling flashes a bright white light every 40 seconds almost directly above the bed, the reception staff do not seem to know how the parking system works, the noise in the bar/restaurant/ I thought I would be safe with a Burger etc, I was wrong, most of the breakfast buffet was poor.

its outside town as i spent money on ubers getting into town. also the window in the room is fixed does not allow for fresh air

The car park was very very badly lit and it was difficult to establish legitimate spaces in the night time.
Due to works going on at the property and the bad lighting in the car park it was hard to navigate on foot to the entrance.
