Extremely disappointing experience – I could not even stay at the hotel
Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing from the moment I arrived, to the point that I decided not to stay at the hotel at all and left for another hotel that was much cleaner, more comfortable and of a significantly higher standard, for approximately the same price.
The problems started before I even entered the hotel. The name displayed at the property was different and abbreviated compared with the name advertised on Booking.com. Although the map showed that I had arrived at the correct location, I kept walking back and forth around the area trying to find the hotel because I could not clearly see the name under which I had made my booking. In my opinion, this is extremely confusing for guests. The property name should be clearly displayed and correspond with the name advertised on Booking.com.
When I eventually reached the entrance and reception area, there was an unpleasant smell, and I also noticed insects around the entrance. This immediately gave me a very poor impression of the cleanliness and general condition of the property.
However, one of the worst aspects was the customer service. I found the attitude at reception unprofessional and lacking any genuine interest in resolving the situation. I specifically asked to speak to the manager or person in charge, but nobody came to speak with me. At the same time, the receptionist was occupied with a video call on his phone instead of giving proper attention to a guest and trying to address the problem.
I also looked at photographs of the property posted on Google, including photographs of the bathroom showing obvious dirt and significant dark build-up around the joints, corners and shower area. The condition shown in those photographs was extremely concerning to me from a cleanliness perspective, and the pictures speak for themselves.

Nous n'avons pas été satisfaits. Notre séjour était prévu pour 4 jours, mais nous sommes partis dès la deuxième nuit. La chambre était très étroite, le lit inconfortable, la fenêtre minuscule, il n'y avait pas de climatisation et le ventilateur était plein de poussière. Inutile d'en dire plus, la moindre critique suffit. Plus jamais ! Je ne vous le recommande pas.

La struttura non avendo la reception attiva 24h ci ha mandato in un secondo hotel per il check in, utilizzato poi ulteriormente come deposito bagagli (che da annuncio doveva essere un servizio presente in hotel) invece della sede designata. La camera disponeva di una doccia che non si chiudeva bene, cercando semplicemente di chiuderla si è smontata e mi è caduta addosso. Quando hanno rifatto la stanza hanno semplicemente girato le lenzuola al contrario e non hanno cambiato gli asciugamani. seppur la posizione sia effettivamente strategica, scoprirete presto di essere sopra letteralmente ai binari dove passa la circle line, dunque si sente continuamente il passare della metro, questo anche perché oltre ad essere posizionato così (e li non vi si può fare nulla) i muri sono di cartongesso. Si sente tutto, dallo sciacquone del vicino di stanza ai passi del piano di sopra, alle attività sportive della stanza accanto, insomma si sente davvero tutto. Dulcis in fondo, il materasso poggiava su una fantastica lastra di legno, era duro come un mattone e ci ha lasciato un bellissimo souvenir, il mal di schiena.

I asked for a room on the opposite side to those facing the underground because they are quiet. This request was confirmed at the time of booking. However, when checking in I was again allocated a noisy room which faced the Underground. The rooms have single pane glass which means you can hear underground trains until very late at night and from very early in the morning. The noise is constant and if you are a light sleeper you haven’t got much chance of sleeping until the trains stop. Particularly bad if you are using the hotel to stay at while you are working. The rooms facing the Underground need updating with double-glazed windows.
