Pros:

Great location , comfy bed

Cons:

Needs TLC especially in bathroom, noise of pump when flushing toilet or running water is disturbing. Early morning wake up by local shouting and swearing outside..

Regency!
Pros:

I thought the advert for the hotel rather undersold itself. I was blown away by the seafront location and the regency architecture. The room was big and tall and rather homely. It said that the facilities were shared but it was actually en suite. The room was ground floor back so the view was nothing to write home about but I didn't go there to stare out thd window. It was literally on top of the parking and a stones throw from lots of pubs and eating places. It was also close to the venue we were visiting. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The view from our room but it was of no consequenc as I said.

Great location to explore brighton beach restaurants and bars on a budget.
Pros:

Location was best. very close to the beach, with lots of eating, shops and evening life easily walkable nearby but on a very quiet square. Hotel had some original features and charm Very reasonably good value for a budget traveller at the time of visit. Helpful and polite reception staff.

Cons:

No lift, a bit sqeaky and dated in places, Could possibly have been a bit tidier.
