Un hôtel du bout du monde, avec une vue imprenable et un calme merveilleux. Tout était parfait du personnel chaleureux au lieu vraiment, magnifique et au restaurant exceptionnel.. pour une fois, la vue était imprenable depuis le lit , ce qui est rare.

Set in the beautiful village of Port Appin. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with knowledgeable and friendly staff that accompanies a delightful meal and view.

After being here last year to drop someone off I knew I would have to return! Myself and my two friends had dinner here last night & we all rated it 5 star. The Monkfish was just superb & it will be long time before I forget how delicious it was. I must mention our server Callum who was excellent, very professional and also good fun!

Stayed for a work trip. Had to be out early and don’t get back until just after 10AM when breakfast finished. However, the lovely lady on duty asked the chef to make me a bacon sandwich and I got a coffee too. This hotel is set in a stunning location. I had a good evening meal too. Shame that some dining guests had unnecessarily blocked car charger but I got car charged in morning. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, the staff could not do enough to ensure the stay was the best it could be. The room was excellent as was the food. Would absolutely recommend and we will be going back.

We have visited this fantastic hotel a few times before, so when on a break in the area, I treated my wife to a birthday lunch.
Arriving early, we were made very welcome and shown to a lovely window seat with views over Loch Linnhe so we could watch the Lismore ferry weave it's way across the Sound..
Starter choice was easy, Cullen Skunk soup for both of us. Although a long way from the source of the soup recipe, it was easily the best we've ever eaten, creamy yet light, lots of smoked haddock, leeks and onion with a bite. The rye bread and whipped butter were delightful.
We shared a main course, choice was easy again, the cheese soufflé was just stunning, risen to perfection topped with smoked haddock and a light cheese sauce.
I always think, the test of a good restaurant is whether you need to season the food. The salt and pepper grinders were redundant throughout our meal.
The restaurant had made a wee treat for my wife's birthday, a couple of small apple tartlets on a plate written "Happy Birthday", a nice wee surprise.
Pudding was also shared, an apple tart with a jug of perfect custard 🍮
One of the best meals we've ever eaten, anywhere, roll on our next visit.

Very cosy hotel and friendly staff.

We just returned from 2 nights at this well run, small & friendly hotel. The team members were all very welcoming & attentive. The log fires add to the cosy nature of the public areas. The bedrooms are well thought through and comfortable, and easily accessed. We made use of the EV chargers which are well priced for guests.

Breakfasts are excellent, plated to order, nice and hot and very tasty.
We enjoyed the evening dinners on both evenings, our favourite dishes being the Cullen Skink & Scallops in Pastry. The Langoustines as a main meal were a little disappointing - I prefer the langoustines to be kept whole and not sliced in half.

This hotel & restaurant is definitely worth a stop on any visit to the West coast.
