Location is great.

Cons:

The accommodation is very dated. Our “apartment” was described as 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, my interpretation of this would lead one to expect solid walls to divide these spaces. In this case it is louvered sliding doors, in particular the bathroom. It Is more like a studio. A particular concern is the shower inside a spa bath, quite a risky undertaking for us given our age. This property is advertised as a 5 star, no idea where these ratings come from, my assessment would be 3 star at best.

Great location. Rooms could do with some general maintenance.
Pros:

The location was great very central and close to restaurants cafe beach and marina.

Cons:

Was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room in general.
A lift to the upper floors would have been handy for bringing up heavy luggage.

Excellent location and good value for money
Pros:

This property is perfectly located if you want to be in the middle of Port Douglas. There are shops, coffee places and restaurants right at the doorstep. Four Mile Beach is a short walk away, and easy to get to. Parking was easy.

The apartment itself is extra large and comfortable with air conditioning and ceiling fans which helped manage the heat. Our apartment had a balcony to sit outside and have a meal which was pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette had basic facilities although did have most of the things we needed to pull together a quick simple meal.

The apartment was on the second floor and there is no lift. Whilst this wasn't an issue for us, it may be for others who are less mobile. We did enjoy the challenge of who could get up the stairs without stopping after a big day out!! The pool is heated and the complex itself was very quiet and peaceful.

This apartment provided excellent location and good value for money.

Cons:

More attention to cleaning the floor properly would be helpful. We found we couldn't walk bare foot in the apartment. Because we had a longer stay, we did receive a change in sheets and towels, however that was the extent of the service.

Unfortunately, the day the apartment was 'serviced', we returned from our day out and found the apartment door was ajar. We don't how long the apartment was left in that state, and thankfully nothing was missing. We did report it to the managers.

The pool itself is TINY compared to the photos and as a result we only used the pool twice during our 8 day stay. If there had been more than 4 adults at any one time using the pool, it would have felt crowded and awkward.

Nested beautifully into a lovely area of Port Douglas. We couldn't have asked for better.
We really enjoyed the balcony looking over the lovely streets and sitting having a coffee watching the world pass by. The lock box for the keys & instructions were clear and we had no issues checking in or out.
It was quiet but also had a lovely buzz from the location.

Cons:

The only down fall for us was the cleanliness. Definitely not the walk around in your bare feet kind of clean.
There's a policy of cleaning your own dishes, emptying the bins ect. before check out.
It felt like the previous guest half attempted this.

Wonderful stay, location and staff.
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, apartment was very roomy and had everything we needed for the trip. Highly recommend 👌🏼

Cons:

Only thing I would mention is mattress was softer than I usually sleep in, but not bad.

We went there twice.The first room was good but unfortunately there were a lot of steps to get to the apartment. The second time we got an apartment with only a few step to climb and it was so much better. Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Very central to everything.

Cons:

Floors were filthy - obviously if mopped it was with a dirty mop. No lifts - carrying 2 loads of bags and groceries up four flights of stairs is no fun.
