Pros:

Es war als Zwischenstation zwischen Banff und Jasper ideal. Das Restaurant auf dem Gelände war empfehlenswert.

Très belle étape entre Banff et Jasper mais qui se paie

L’emplacement dans un environnement de montagnes incroyable
La chambre très bien équipée

Les prix de tout ce qui est proposé dans ce complexe:
que ce soit l’épicerie, le café, les plats au restaurant, l’essence , tout est très cher et injustifié.

Voor mij een voldoende, maar niet meer dan dat.
Pros:

De locatie is prachtig! Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. En je hebt eigenlijk alles op het terrein.

Cons:

Het is toch wel wat gedateerd en zou een opknapbeurtje kunnen gebruiken. Men weet dat men ver van de bewoonde wereld zit en dat merk je aan de pittige prijzen in het restaurant en aan de daar aanwezige benzinepomp. Om in de bewoonde wereld te komen dient men minimaal anderhalf uur te rijden.

Tolle UNterkunft, super Lage, fantastischer Blick

Auf der Hälfte zwischen Banff und Jasper, gut gelegen ( obwohl nah am Highway haben wir davon nichts mitbekommen). DAs Personal war sehr entgegenkommend, nachdem das 1 Zimmer direkt am LOkal ( und am Aschenbecher lokalisiert) war, hat man uns direkt ein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Wlan war zwar nur im zentralen Bereich gut, hat uns aber gereicht. Wir konnten sogar unsere Wäsche waschen und die Aussicht, das Panorama war fantastisch. IM Lokal haben wir lecker gegessen.

Cons:

Wir konnten nur eine NAcht bleiben, da schon lange im Voraus ausgebucht war!

Etwas altmodische, aber gemütliche, Übernachtungsmöglichkeit am Icefields Parkway
Pros:

Wer am Icefields Parkway nicht auf einem Campingplatz übernachten möchte und fließendes Wasser haben möchte, hat nicht viele Möglichkeiten. Vor dem Hintergrund war das Motel prima. Beim Betreten des Zimmers hat man den Eindruck, dass die Zeit etwas stehen geblieben ist. Man könnte es auch als „rustikalen Rocky Mountains-Charme“ bezeichnen. Das Bett war groß und bequem. Das Frühstück im daneben liegenden Restaurant war OK. Da das Motel ja nur einige Monate im Jahr geöffnet hat ist es nachvollziehbar, dass hier (auch im Restaurant) alles relativ teuer ist. Parkplatz ohne Probleme nah beim Zimmer.

Cons:

Insgesamt schon sehr abgewohnt und altmodische Einrichtung.

They could have included breakfast for the price we paid.
