We stayed at Palazzo Ripetta for one night only but we we had stayed more. The hotel is a true gem in the Campo Marzio district and its location is terrific, tucked away on Via di Ripetta.
The accommodations are exceptional and the rooms are furnished with opulent detail. The bedding is top notch as were all the amenities. The staff is extremely hospitable and always available to assist in any manner they can.
The restaurant itself is amazing and we enjoyed our lunch there. Breakfast is an extravagant buffet with a la carte items also available. It was such a pleasure to have morning breakfast in the courtyard before our departure.
I will definitely be staying here every time I return to Rome.
From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful stay. The staff was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, especially the front desk team. They graciously accommodated an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated after a long international flight and made for a perfect start to our stay.
The hotel's location is exceptional...right in the heart of Rome and perfectly situated for exploring the city. Having both the metro and train stations just steps away made getting around effortless. We relied on the Metro A line throughout our stay, and it was by far the easiest and most efficient way to experience everything Rome has to offer.
We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant. The uni pasta was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. While the restaurant offers a tasting menu, we opted for à la carte and were very pleased with our meal. Breakfast was also very good, with freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen. The only suggestion would be to expand the breakfast selection a bit, as we felt there could be more variety for a five-star property.
The only other area that could be improved is the concierge service. Responses to email inquiries sometimes required multiple follow-ups, which made planning a bit more challenging before our arrival.
Overall, this is an outstanding hotel that combines an unbeatable location with excellent service and comfortable accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return on our next visit to Rome.
This is a beautiful hotel situated in a quiet street near piazza de popoli. Perfectly situated to the great shopping area. The lovely courtyard is a respite from the crowds. We didn’t get to the rooftop bar as there was a private function but it is limited to hotel guests only. The rooms were large with a seating area and water snacks and a fruit bowl welcomed us. A first class hotel with attentive staff. Valerio on the front desk was exceptional. Highly recommended.
Ligging en sfeer van het hotel
nice property with friendly staff. Location is a 10 minute walk to Spanish Steps. 20 minutes to Trevi Fountain. Close to Borghese Park. nice view form Borghese Park. 8 minute walk from the hotel.
The room was great. Our bed was extremely comfortable and there was ample storage for our clothes etc. The bathroom was probably the nicest I've ever had in a hotel with double sinks, a spacious walk in shower with great water temp and pressure and also quite luxurious. The staff were very classy and efficient and it was obvious we were in a 5 star hotel. We did not eat in the restaurant and only had pastries and coffee in the morning.
The location is just ok. The actual street is a bit boring and the neighborhood is not as charming as other areas we've stayed in Rome. The room could have been cooler not that we were sweating. This was not the only hotel we stayed in and others were able to keep the temperature cooler. When we had breakfast a lovely staff member brought us coffee and a tray of pastries which was nice but I would have preferred to see a menu and choose the pastries I wanted (as I didn't like all that they chose, and didn't want multiple) and only pay for what I want and also we were lead to the bar area to sit alone with our breakfast. It was a little weird. The rooftop bar/terrace was ok but seemed like it could be anywhere so not really worth spending our time there. I know it's not their fault, but this type of hotel will have many occasions like one that took over the rooftop for an evening and the beautiful outdoor restaurant for an evening, which was actually the evening of our anniversary when we would have wanted to eat there. When checking out the receipt requests a tip and suggests a range average of 20% of the hotel bill. I found that pretty disgusting and have never seen a hotel ask for that. I ignored it and not sure if it was a coincidence but the demeanor of the staff who helped us outside with our luggage seemed to change and the taxi we were given to take us to our next location ripped us off.
Loved the rooms, well appointed and spacious enough for what I wanted. Service at the hotel is top notch, both friendly and professional. Staff were able to help with different requests easily.
Wonderful location. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. We stayed at three hotels in Italy and this one had the nicest staff by far. Excellent breakfast buffet. Room was very clean. Bathroom spacious. Very good shower. Bed was too firm for me and the pillows were rock hard as well.
This 5 star hotel is in a good location. It is clean and comfortable. We were very disappointed in our stay, however. Our room overlooked the courtyard where a band played loud music well into the night. We couldn’t sleep. The manager had multiple complaints but couldn’t help. Beware!
Very nice hotel with a great location. For the most part, the staff is very friendly and at your disposal. The service in the breakfast restaurant was not the most attentive.
Just stayed here for 3 nights with my son. What a delightful place! It started with the great help of concierge Daniela in the weeks before our arrival, what a treasure she is! All restaurant recommendations were spot on and reserved seamlessly. The room upgrade, so that we both had some privacy and own bathroom, was also appreciated. For me everything in this hotel is perfect: great beds, wonderful bathrooms with Ortigia products, beautiful lighting, enough wardrobe space and very very quiet even with our room facing the street so ideal for light sleepers like myself. The hotel is greatly located with all sightseeing places within walking distance. Lovely courtyard for drinks and morning coffee and tastefully done inside breakfast area with a vast spread of fresh food. Impeccable room cleaning and turndown service completed the perfection. The only feature we could not try because of the weather was their roof terrace: but we will be back for that for sure!! Thanks to all the wonderful people working at this Palazzo and a special thanks to super star Daniela. Lonneke & Espen
