Palazzo Ripetta

This is the third time that we stay as a family at Palazzo Ripetta and the hotel has become our luxury "home" in Rome.

I found the Palazzo Ripetta to exceed my expectations. We found the property to be located in an excellent area, with many shopping and restaurant experiences within walking distance. It was a short cab ride to attractions including the Vatican and the Colosseum. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Every single staff member that we met was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room - a junior suite- was spacious with a a nice bathroom and shower. Never a shortage of fresh towels or water. The morning breakfast buffet was deliciously and they even brought a boxed breakfast to us prior to our departure at 4am the last morning. The lobby and surrounding areas are very pretty, and the rooftop bar is wonderful. I believe the bartender’s name was Alessandro - he made excellent drinks and was very friendly - even helping us with our Italian (upon our request!) Overall, when visiting Rome again, I will definitely book a suite here again.

Excellent hotel service and staff

This review is long time due. I visited Palazzo Ripetta with my grown up children in January 2025, coincidently for my birthday. And it was a very good idea! We had the warmest welcome by Saskia who I understand is now at a sister property. In fact the team was truly remarkable, we had special touches in the room every night and the morning of my birthday the hostess at the restaurant welcomed me by name and a warm salutation and cake. Special details, special people, impeccably restored building in a top location. What else can one ask for? Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Palazzo Ripetta was exceptional, and Francesco made it unforgettable from the moment we arrived. He gave us one of the warmest, most genuine welcomes we’ve ever received at any hotel—especially impressive considering how much we travel. He made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation.

We hadn’t planned our lunches or dinners before arriving, and Francesco took the time to ask about the kinds of experiences we were looking for instead of simply handing us a list of restaurants. His recommendations were thoughtful, personalized, and ended up being some of our favorite meals in Rome. I was especially impressed to learn that the hotel’s guest relations team doesn’t just recommend local restaurants—they actually dine at them and write detailed reports about each one so they can confidently guide guests. That level of dedication really shows.

The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. They graciously honored our early check-in request, which was incredibly appreciated after traveling, and we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift from the hospitality team waiting in our room. The room was well stocked with complimentary water and beverages, and one detail I particularly appreciated was that several of the outlets accommodated both European and American plugs. It’s a small touch that made a big difference and showed how much thought has gone into the guest experience.

Palazzo Ripetta combines beautiful accommodations with truly outstanding hospitality. Francesco and the entire team made us feel cared for throughout our stay, and we would gladly return the next time we’re in Rome.

My husband and I had an incredible stay at Palazzo dei Ripetta! After a long flight, we were greeted with such gracious hospitality. We were able to check in early to get some rest before exploring Rome. We were central to all the sites in Rome- we walked to the Trevi Fountain in 10-15 minutes. Everything you want is at this hotel. Even if you want some peace, away from the bustle of the city, just take the lift up to the rooftop and enjoy a more serene scene up top! Thank you to the staff for an unforgettable stay!

We stayed at Palazzo Ripetta for one night only but we we had stayed more. The hotel is a true gem in the Campo Marzio district and its location is terrific, tucked away on Via di Ripetta.

The accommodations are exceptional and the rooms are furnished with opulent detail. The bedding is top notch as were all the amenities. The staff is extremely hospitable and always available to assist in any manner they can.

The restaurant itself is amazing and we enjoyed our lunch there. Breakfast is an extravagant buffet with a la carte items also available. It was such a pleasure to have morning breakfast in the courtyard before our departure.

I will definitely be staying here every time I return to Rome.

From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful stay. The staff was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, especially the front desk team. They graciously accommodated an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated after a long international flight and made for a perfect start to our stay.

The hotel's location is exceptional...right in the heart of Rome and perfectly situated for exploring the city. Having both the metro and train stations just steps away made getting around effortless. We relied on the Metro A line throughout our stay, and it was by far the easiest and most efficient way to experience everything Rome has to offer.

We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant. The uni pasta was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. While the restaurant offers a tasting menu, we opted for à la carte and were very pleased with our meal. Breakfast was also very good, with freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen. The only suggestion would be to expand the breakfast selection a bit, as we felt there could be more variety for a five-star property.

The only other area that could be improved is the concierge service. Responses to email inquiries sometimes required multiple follow-ups, which made planning a bit more challenging before our arrival.

Overall, this is an outstanding hotel that combines an unbeatable location with excellent service and comfortable accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return on our next visit to Rome.

This is a beautiful hotel situated in a quiet street near piazza de popoli. Perfectly situated to the great shopping area. The lovely courtyard is a respite from the crowds. We didn’t get to the rooftop bar as there was a private function but it is limited to hotel guests only. The rooms were large with a seating area and water snacks and a fruit bowl welcomed us. A first class hotel with attentive staff. Valerio on the front desk was exceptional. Highly recommended.
