Redelijk hotel, voor een redelijke prijs
Pros:

Oud pand, vier trappen op, behoeft wat onderhoud. Wel prima geslapen en ook een redelijk ontbijt.

Cons:

Tv werkte een beetje, zwakke douche. Meerdere kleine gebreken zoals stopcontacten die half los zitten.

Sehr gute Frühstück, Zimmer am anfangs sehr Sauber danach nicht gereinigt, wenigstens sauberer Gläser hätte gereicht, Lage sehr gute mit S-Bahn, U-Bahn und Bus zu erreichen.

Step back in time a little.
Pros:

Easy location from the Uban and airport. It is a 40 minute ride but relatively simple.
The building dates to the interbellic period and still has multiple private apartments. Two floors are dedicated to the hotel as such. Reception is upstairs via a classic central cage elevator. Very picturesque but a bit scary the first ride. I figure if it's still here after WWII and communism my 90kg is not going to kill it.
The receptionist was polite and efficient. Signed us in, cashed out and gave us all the breakfast details keys and wifi access codes. He even passed us a map.
We went to dinner up the street a a local pub. Great food and prices. Pretty waitress speaking good English.
The stores up the road are v.vpricey, upscale but it's nice to see how the other side lives.
The room was clean, comfortable. The bathroom was functional but retrofitted with the necessary quirks like drainage pipes coming out the wall in the central hall. There was shampoo, hairdryer, towels, glasses, reading lamps.
Furniture was a bit dated but for the price I would be amis to complain. I came with my grown son and we had plenty of space.
There was a bar fridge in the room.
Breakfast was welcoming and diverse. Plenty of hot coffee, orange juice, diverse breads, cheeses and coldcuts, cereal, yogurt.
All in all not a disappointment, good value for money.
Like stepping back 2 centuries.

Cons:

The carpet in the bedroom was a deep grey. It seemed vacuumed but I kept feeling unsure.
Otherwise all was fine.

Der einzig gute Punkt an dieser Unterkunft ist die Lage.

Cons:

Ich würde hier nicht von einem Hotel sprechen, denn dafür ist zu viel nicht in Ordnung. Schon der Treppenaufgang zum Empfangsraum in der zweiten Etage erinnert eher an ein Abriss-Haus. Im Zimmer gibt es schlichtweg keine Steckdose, nur im Bad ist eine zu finden. Vor der Zimmertür (311) ist eine Art Abstellecke, die von einem heruntergerissenen Vorhang notdürftig verdeckt wird. Über die Hälfte der TV-Programme sind wegen Internet-Problemen nicht empfangbar und die restlichen Programme stocken immer wieder. Eine Nacht-Ablage für die Brille gibt es auch nicht! Über Fußboden-Belag, Fliesen usw. will ich gar nicht reden...das sprengt den Rahmen! So, jetzt genug gesagt - bilde sich selbst einen Eindruck, wer das mag!

Werde Hotel wieder buchen!
Pros:

Frühstück war sehr lecker. Hotel ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut zu erreichen. Der Fahrstuhl ist historisch. Zimmer in der 2.Etage war zum Hof und ruhig. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank ist im Zimmer und macht keine Geräusche. In der Nähe ist ein REWE. An der Ecke im Café gibt es leckeren Borschtsch.

Pros:

The staff is very friendly and welcoming; they will assist you as much as possible. Location is good, big bed and decent breakfast.

Cons:

The bathroom is shared and located outside the room, although there is a shower inside the room. The elevator is quite old. Unfortunately, the day I stayed was very hot, and there was no fan provided. Receiption is only available at 11 am till 8 pm

Rörigt, rätt mysigt men lite överpris för vad man får!

-personalen då det initialt blev stora problem med att min dotter inte hade plats trots att jag hade pratat med Booking.com och sagt att vi är två. Ni skickade förfrågningar till dem som dem påstod att dem inte fått och trodde mig inte när jag sa att jag pratat med er (3 ggr!) om dem bara hade fått det hade allt varit lugnt påstod dem. sen när vi väl pratade med er löste det sig. Dock sa dem först att vi inte skulle få varsin kudde och täcke och att vi var tvungna att betala 260 euro per natt för det om vi ville ha. Detta ändrades uppenbarligen efter samtalet med er. Hela konversationen var obegriplig. Deras mailsvar innan också där dem skrev att jag måste prata med booking.com trots att jag svarade att jag hade gjort det. Tror bara det blev ett missförstånd och i affekt höjde hon priset för oss enormt spontant vilket absolut inte är ok och lite obegripligt. Rummet var också ett dubbelrum avsett för två. Frukosten skulle dem ta 10 euro extra per natt för och min dotter äter knappt något så det skippade vi. Den var för övrigt rätt inte så bra. Men det kvittar. Jag är aldrig missnöjd och det ska långt för att jag ska bli men detta var katastrofalt. Brukar stå ut med det mesta!
