Nothing
Staff. Payment problems.
The coffee available at reception only available 7.15am to 6 pm. Not very good. The security guard or whoever set up the coffee machine had nothing to do but look at his phone all day but he could not manage to set it up early every day. What is the point of providing coffee when most of the guests are tour groups who leave the hotel very early? The rooms were clean but I never saw a vacuum cleaner and the dust in the carpets was quite heavy. I don’t think they ever vacuum. There was one guy on reception with fairly good English who gave us the name of a “snack” place for breakfast (huguosi snack) which was a 20 min walk away and fabulous. The hotel provided a very skimpy cheap breakfast which was awful. It’s best to go out. Plenty of local food places for lunch and dinner and lots of local shops to buy fruit and nuts and ice blocks (it was very hot in May)
No breakfast. Dust in carpets. More staff need to speak English. Lots of people standing round doing nothing all day except gazing at their phones! Get them busy doing stuff like breakfast and setting up the coffee machine earlier!!
Very good location close to the park and Forbidden City. Restaurants and Cafes nearby.
The beds were extremely hard even by Chinese standards. The staff helpfully gave me extra pillows and comforter to lie on but I still had a very sore back and found it difficult to sleep.
Dobrze lokalizacja
Great location
Very basic room, small size room and staff were not friendly. No breakfast available.
I stayed here for for 2 nights with a booked tour then added an additional 3 nights at the end of my trip as it was easier than changing hotels. The location was fantastic: close to the National Art Museum subway (line 8) and Jinshang Park. Loved the free coffee with freshly grounded beans in the morning!
The reception staff (with exception of one female receptionist with glasses, didn't catch her name) were very unfriendly, rude and had no English language skills.
Location
Hard beds
Bad WiFi
Unhelpful staff
Old carpets that need deep cleaning
Great location
Worst beds ever...call them planks
It was close to most places
The smell of the rooms. Being a non smoker i noticed the smell of smoke. Not sure why they have carpet instead of tiles. The carpet has absorbed the smell of the years of smoke.
