The desk staff were very nice. The location was convenient.
It was noisy. To further complicate matters, between 7:30-8 am, some workers were banging on doors and shouting out in the hallways. It may have been some sort of fire inspection of sorts…but typical- not an emergency. They knocked on our doors and woke us. Our checkout was not until 11 am! Horrible!!
Also, breakfast is NOT included and prices for food were very high.

A better breakfast
Great location and we like that area.
Our air conditioning in the room was less that acceptable. We did report it but they could not fix it entirely. The staff did a good job of accommodating the issue but it was not fixed.
Very nice and clean
Pretty much nothing
We piled in the car early morning on July 5 from Raleigh, NC and drove up to the IKEA in College Park, MD and then the American Girl Store at Tyson's Corners. It was up in the air if we'd drive on back home or have a mini-adventure. We had packed a bag *just in case*. Fredericksburg was the winner and we quickly booked the Courtyard by Marriott hotel there. It was a nice hotel! I didn't love that we had to park in a deck that wasn't just beside the hotel, but I get it. Our room butted up to the Fire Department. Overall, it was very comfortable. The walk down to the waterfront was quick and pretty. The next morning we did our own sort of walking tour around the town and the hotel was a great jumping off point for that.
Great
The location was great. Everything of interest was a short walking distance. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
We were told the housekeeping staff would clean every other day. Our room wasn't visited for our whole stay.
We frequently stay at hotels for travel. This hotel went above and beyond. The front desk also does valet. They are courteous and prompt. The bistro staff was pleasant and helpful and
Breakfast was spectacular, but it was not included in the price.
Parking on the street was a challenge (heavily restricted). The local parking garage was a pretty good deal ($8 per day), but if you opt for hotel valet parking (to the same garage half a block away) the hotel charges $16 per day).
location was very good.
the only blemish is no one made up the room during a two night stay. Or it that's the policy, I was not informed.
