My experience at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, y walking distance to everything you want to see, shop, and do. Whether it’s luxury boutiques, iconic Chicago sights, or great restaurants, everything is just steps away.

What truly sets this property apart is the outstanding staff. You can feel that strong, thoughtful leadership is present throughout the hotel, every interaction feels warm, polished, and genuinely caring.

James, our breakfast server, was an absolute standout. He not only remembered my coffee preferences but anticipated them each morning with such attention to detail. His kindness and professionalism made breakfast one of the highlights of my stay. He is truly a gem.

Sheryl at the concierge desk also made a lasting impression. Her warm greetings, bright smile, and thoughtful recommendations made every day better. She radiates hospitality and made me feel genuinely welcomed.

Beautiful luxury hotel with an elegant atmosphere, very clean rooms, and an excellent location. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the overall experience felt upscale and relaxing.

Huge shoutout to Luis, the courtesy car driver, who absolutely made my day. He took me to the Starbucks Reserve and waited for me while I grabbed my order, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. That kind of service is rare and really shows how much this hotel values its guests.

We have stayed at the Waldorf as a family several times and it is always a wonderful experience. From the moment you get there, you’re greeted with such kindness and care. For this trip, I was taking my daughter and her friend for a birthday overnight in the city, and we greeted by Jesus who took care of us so well, he took our millions of bags and food and promptly loaded them on the car brought them up our room talk to us about the house car really took care of our needs and anticipated things. I didn’t even think about. He was right there checkout as well - getting our car, loading all the bags and shopping bags into our car with care while we finished our shopping so that our car was ready for us to leave the city when we were done. Jesus was really taking extra time with us to make everything went smoothly.

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago was a great experience! I saw the staff interactions with the guests and we were all treated like VIP. From Logan at the Concierge desk to Colleen and the whole spa team, Deandre at the welcome desk, and Santiago at Brass Tack, I was extremely impressed with the service and attentiveness of all the staff. Not only is the hotel beautiful with great amenities but the staff really made it that much more memorable! Thanks to the entire crew at Waldorf Astoria Chicago!!

Luis and Christian were extremely helpful and attentive to my groups needs. We had multiple mini coach buses and SUVs for executive level attendees.

Sheryl Walerski, Guest Services Specialist, went Above and Beyond to make our stay the "Absolutely Phenomenal!" It started a minute after I reserved our room. I informed her that we would be celebrating my husband's 80th birthday and she took the ball and ran with it. She asked me pertinent questions and exceeded all of my requests! When we arrived she had Happy Birthday gifts for my husband. She recommend Steak 48 and shared with them my husband's birthday. They surprised us with gifts. She made the reservations for our dinner along with transportation. She found out we were not departing early she granted us a late check out I can go on and on but the only thing you need is Sheryl's name! Ask for her when making your reservation. This was the VERY best birthday celebration ever!!! The accomodations were definitely FIVE STAR quality!!! We will recommend to ALL of our family and friends. Even though I got to experience all the royal treatment that the birthday man experienced, we will return on my birthday, so we can get "The Royal Treatment" again!!!

This is a luxury hotel located in the center of the city. It's close to everything. The room was fantastic. It had a massive space. The bed was very comfortable. The toiletries were luxurious. The service was excellent. The staff were professional.

This hotel offered a truly luxurious experience! The location, amenities, and staff were all excellent. However, what truly made this trip special was the staff. The front desk crew was incredibly helpful, answering questions about the neighborhood and getting around the city with great suggestions for restaurants and coffee shops. A special shoutout to Luis from valet, who expertly navigated the city in the house car, and Jesus, who carried our baggage and made the experience truly special. We’d love to stay at this property again next time I’m treating myself to a special trip to the Windy City.

This was our first experience with a luxury hotel, so we do not know how it stacks up to other hotels in its class.

The whole experience was fantastic.

Check in was wonderful. Anais was very pleasant and attentive. Since it was our first time at the hotel, she took us to our room and pointed out all the room had to offer.

Breakfast at the hotel's Brass Tack restaurant was extremely special. Our server James, was attentive to our needs without being overbearing. He shared his enthusiasm for walking in Chicago and we never felt like we had to hurry up and leave the restaurant.

The hotel concierge, Logan, gave us great tips for walking from the hotel to some of the local museums.

The housekeeping staff kept the room in impeccable shape and made sure that we were well stocked with water and chocolates.

It was a joy to stay at the Waldorf and we hope to be able to stay there again in the future.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay here over the weekend! The hotel staff are amazing, kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the service is exceptional. Love the free car service within a mile and all drivers were fantastic and friendly. Love the turn down service and our suite was immaculately cleaned every day! Very luxurious and classy. Really lived up to its reputation as a luxury 5-star hotel! Hope to stay here again!

We had an excellent stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago. Our room was very spacious and well appointed, with two queen beds, a desk, and a very functional closet, along with plush robes and slippers. The bathroom was also a standout, finished in marble with a separate shower and toilet area, and plenty of space overall, with good Aesop amenities.

Service was impeccable throughout the stay, attentive and consistently available. Housekeeping neatly organized our belongings in the bathroom and across the room. The hotel felt quiet and well managed, and the availability of 24-hour room service added to the overall convenience.

The only slight tradeoff is the location. While still central and quiet, it is a bit removed from the heart of the Magnificent Mile, and it takes a little walking to get there or to the subway. That said, there are many coffee shops nearby and several very good restaurants within close range, so it’s still a practical base.

Overall, a very comfortable and polished stay, with strong service and spacious accommodations.
