It's a great place and absolutely love the hotel.
The TV/cable/remote setup is horrible
1 of our TV's didn't work; the "guide"would. Not come up and the delay in remote to tv is so long. Need to be able to have ability to hook up to apps ex: Hulu, paramount etc

Parking
Location. The outdoor facilties are nice as far as the pool and jacuzzi and areas along the creek bank with table and chairs. This hotel has alot of potential to be a fabulous place, but simply falls short once you step inside.
(1) Roaches and other bugs. Encountered roaches inside in lobby area and hallway multiple times.
(2) Breakfast buffet was great as far as selection, but hot items were barely lukewarm warm all three days of our stay. Dishes for buffet did not seem properly cleaned, as a few times dirty dishes and coffee mugs with remnants from previous diner were out for next guest use.
(3) Nice large room but it was very warm, even with a/c at 68 degrees entire stay. A/C could use some work.
(4) Fabric furnishings appear older, worn and very stained/dirty in room we stayed.
(5) Minimal gym facilities.
(6) Torn, rather ragged/worn bath towels.
(7) Hotel staff at front desk was not particularly helpful or friendly. Greeting was not warm or friendly as is typical in most Fredericksburg public hospitality type places. Asked for printed receipt at check out, or at least an emailed receipt, as I needed it as proof of stay and payment, was told since I made reservation through Booking they would not provide me with a receipt.
(8) Price was very expensive for the age and general lack of upkeep. Fredericksburg is normally an expensive place to stay, but the location is the only thing that would seem to command the high price of this hotel. Its not a historic property, its simply an older, somewhat worn hotel calling itself a “boutique” hotel with not much to make it worth the cost.
The location was PERFECT! It allowed you to experience downtown Main St. And all of it variety of local talent. From fine dining to casual sovereign shopping. And a host of fun fooding in between! Looking forward to a revisit!
A/C was effective, but a little loud.

Great location with easy parking. Loved our room, it was comfortable and cozy.
Breakfast food (bacon, sausage, potatoes) was not good but it was free.
It’s close to Main Street and the facility is nice. They have a great breakfast.
One of tv’s didn’t work in our room and some of the furnishings need replacing.
The staff was professional. The breakfast was good. The location was great.

No comfortable seating inside.
The breakfast was fantastic. All normal hotel foods - toast, cereal, juices, coffee, pancakes, etc. but the scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and hash browns were cooked to perfection. View from breakfast room to outside poo and sitting area was a plus. Dining area quiet and pleasant.
Staff, rooms, hotel no complaints. Great service!

Disappointed in the welcome by staff, lady who checked us in and out was a miserable woman who had no passion for what she does, disappointing when Texas has always been hospitable.
