Tried breakfast twice - same items were offered each time. The coffee needs more attention to check on supplies, such as regular sugar being available. Also, checking on supply of napkins is important.
Having lamps providing adequate lighting for reading is really important to us.
Breakfast was excellent; rooms even better,
My visit was too short
Fredricksburg is a lovely town
Staff were miserable and unfriendly the room wasnt very clean the carpets all around the hotel and in our room was dirty the pool area although it was nice the towels for the beds had holes in them
The breakfast was fresh and very good. Lots of variety.
We thought everything was very good.
Clean, close to downtown and friendly staff.
No complaints
Breakfast was as expected.
I do not have anything to add.
Safety, location and staff.

Location
Loved everything
We arrived at the “Inn on Barons Creek” about 4pm after a long drive. We decided to check in then walk to downtown and get dinner. We were given room 231, the room was very large with plenty of room, the issue was the bathroom. The room had a shampoo bottle left from the previous guest and the toilet had a mold ring around the bowl. We left the room and we were going to inform the front desk but there was a line of people checking in, so I decided to do that later. We returned to the hotel after 10 pm. I decided to just let room service take care of it in the next day. We left the hotel about 9 am and returned about 11pm. The bed was made and the towels had been replaced with fresh ones, but still had the ring in the toilet and shampoo bottle in the shower. The next morning we left at 9 am and returned about 6 pm still had the ring and the bottle plus the bed was half made, but the towels had been replaced. We have stayed at Inn on Baron’s Creek several times but this was the worst we have encountered. Maybe it was just the 2nd floor east side because the other couple traveling we us had no issues on the 2nd floor west wing. At check out the clerk never asked “how was your stay” just said “would you like a printed receipt”. I sent an email to the hotel but haven’t received a reply.
Perfect Location, small breakfast room
More organization during breakfast time.
The location of the hotel was great
The room was dated and various things did not work like the TV in the bedroom and various plug sockets
Proximity to the downtown area. Most of DT was within walking distance from the hotel
The room was outdated. Had to wait 5 min for hot water in the shower and then it was intermittent with poor pressure.
Comfortable and clean. Room was very nice with a sofa and chairs and two tvs. Small refrigerator was convenient.
Centrally located. Staff extremely friendly.
AC unit was on the older side. Was a bit too loud, occasionally woke up due to the noise.
