Clean functional and reasonable value
No restaurant no bar and very basic room facilities. No iron. No hairdryer not a lot of stuff you might expect in a regular hotel. Everything you might need was extra amd had to be asked for. I was not really impressed with the place 😕

The price!!! Yli cant fathom how they can justify the price, 2 rooms, 1 night nearly 800e. I booked ages ago and they didn't even have the rooms close by. Very expensive for a basic room, no breakfast. The room was like a furnace and the fan provided just moved the hot air around.

Heat in the room even though a fan was provided. It was very expensive for what it was too.
The coffee and cookies in the coffee shop were nice.
We were going to a concert in Thomond Park so didn't really need anything fancy so we went with the Travelodge in Castletroy. Nothing went well.
On check in - we were asked to wait for a few minute - this was ok. The desk agents had a conversation between themselves: 'well I'll just go and empty the room now' and one of them came back down with a rucksack.
Our keys did not work, I went back down to Reception to get a new set - the 2nd set didn't work.
A front desk agent passed us in the corridor and let us into the room.
My partner went down to get another set of keys - 3rd set did not work - the 4th set of keys finally worked.
There was a pair of runners and socks underneath one of the beds - we left them outside the room and told the front desk.
The room was like a sauna - the curtains were wide open with sun streaming in on a day that was 25+ degrees.
There was no air conditioning. There was 2 fans in the room but a hair dryer would have done a better same job.
We did not stay for the 2nd night as planned. We checked out on Saturday morning and went home.

No breakfast. Location was good. Ten mins in taxi to Thomond park. Aldi right next door for snacks.
The cafe is closed on Mondays so had to find somewhere else for breakfast!
Room was like a sauna, no ventilation. Window wouldn't open as there was a window reveal/recess in the way. Pillows atrocious, No soap or shower gel in the dispensers. Musty/stale smell in the room. Worst night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel/motel/BB of any description & I've stayed in Super 8s in the back of beyond, USA.
everything was clean and comfortable, needs a little updating. But perfect location
