Alles!
Siehe oben. Da fällt mir nichts an.
The grounds and view were very pretty
Room was terrible. Not worthy of a 3 star hotel
Все отлично 👍
We arrived here with great expectations of staying for 5 days in an Amazing hotel on the lake. We were celebrating my 80th birthday and our wedding anniversary . Unfortunately the hotel let us down immediately by giving us what is probably the worst room in the hotel. Avoid room216 ! It was very small , basic and although it had a balcony looking over the lake it did not redeem it. The bathroom was so small there was a 2 inch step into it which I tripped on immediately , the door opened inwards and hit the bidet and toilet. There was a tiny basin which had been cut out to allow the door to open. It was worse than any cruise ship we have ever been on .We complained and were told there were no other
rooms available ! The Aircon didn’t work , nor did the TV. The bed creaked butWe had no choice but to use the room for 1 night. After much hassle the next day which was actually my birthday they told us they could give us another room but only for 2 days but then we would have to move again! After getting on to our London agent she confirmed that we would indeed have to move. Thursday came and we heard nothing and despite repeated requests . It wasn’t until 2.00pm that we were told we were moving . This room was fine , although I must say the bathroom room was still very small but at least had a sliding door.
Had we been given the 3rd room initially there would have been no problem .
It totally ruined the experience for us. It is a pity because the hotel itself is lovely . It is on the lake and the gardens and pool are beautiful . Most if the staff are delightful. Breakfast is excellent and in a lovely room . We ate one night in the fish restaurant which was only ok . The pool bar was good and the lunch offerings fine.
It is a long walk25 mins to Gardone the nearest town. A taxi cost 20 euros each way . We thought it expensive to say the least , it takes 5 mins. That added 40 euros a night onto our evening meal. We could not understand why the hotel didn’t have a courtesy bus . . It makes total sense .
It was such a pity and we will not be returning .
As relaxed a holiday as we could have wished for. Excellent facilities, superb concierge (Stephano) and always a choice of sunbeds. Loved every minute of it. The only downside, which is admittedly a rather small point, was the toaster at breakfast. They should sell tickets for timed entry. My toast had to do 6 laps (a new world record) just to get a bit of colour. The light on my iphone would have toasted it quicker.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! It is located in a great spot and had an amazing layout, breakfast, and spa. The room was great and everything was perfect.....except the bed!! Ugh the worst!
Only the bed!! Such a sad thing because I would stay here for a week next time but the bed is just miserable.
What a gorgeous setting and amazing building
The rooms on the street side were a bit noisy
Posizione, servizio, cortesia.
Niente, tutto molto gradevole.
The location was beautiful! The staff was amazing!
Wunderbar gelegen an Gardasee
Unser Zimmer hatte keinen Seeblick sondern zur Straße
Relaxing spot - lovely gardens. Bar terrace was great for evening cocktails. Spa and Sauna area large and easy to use. Very helpful staff.
Small details- wine on arrival, chocolates left in the room every day, local sweets in reception.
The service in this hotel very sadly does not live up to the setting. A few small examples: on no day did any of the pool staff ask if we needed or wanted water or a drink of any kind; there was no milk for coffee in the rooms and we had to ask for it; at breakfast the toaster took 3 or more times to create toast; the food in Pescatore was pretty woeful, we were advised not to eat in Il Fagiano as the we might be equally disappointed; the service in Pescatore lacked even the basics of any basic restaurant ability to communicate between staff; there were no wine glasses in the room; the lunch/bar/room food menu is the same and is simply not up to scratch for the price; some of our pillows had no protectors and had minor stains on the pillow; the room design was somewhat lacking in privacy; the Guest Relations Manager seemed to have trouble relating to what it means to be a Guest. I sincerely think that the management need to have some honest conversations in order to provide a much better overall Experience, not simply an experience based upon the Building, the Grounds and the Setting. At no point in any service was I asked if things were okay - why not ? Was there any Hotel survey ? I saw no Management curiosity as to what we thought of our days. It was not what we have normally experienced either in terms of "fine dining" or a Leading Hotel of the World member. The food and service was far better at the many local restaurants - I have never stayed in a five star hotel where I felt unable to eat in the Hotel in the evening.
I really enjoyed Grand Hotel Fassano. Great atmosphere. Great service. Would go back!
Beautiful hotel and very well maintained. Delicious breakfast. Staff is very accommodating and they even were able to upgrade us for free on request
Nothing, i would happily visit again
Everything about this hotel was a dream. From the moment we stepped in, we were in the lap of luxury, never lifting a finger. Breathtaking views from every corner - especially our room and the the breakfast area. Incredibly attentive staff who go out of their way to make your stay special, including the concierge contacting us a month in advance to help us plan a few excursions through third parties. There is more than enough seating by the lake and super comfortable to boot - with attentive employees and table service. The breakfast buffet is an absolute dream and my favorite piece of all was sitting there every morning with the birds, soft music, and delicious food. This was worth every penny and more and I'll be dreaming of this for years to come!
