Location, cleanliness, BREAKFAST... This is the place to stay in when visiting Florence
Pros:

It's literally around the corner from the SM Novella station, and just a few minutes walking distance from the main historical places to visit in Florence. The room was very spacious, and we were able to see the Duomo from the balcony. The communication with the administrator from the hotel, before and during our stay, was always very useful. We mentioned to her that on our last day we needed to leave very early in the morning and wanted to know the checkout process, she immediately arranged for us to have a delicious packed breakfast before we left.
Although the location, the space, and the cleanliness were superb, I have to say the highest point was the breakfast. There was always something for every taste. Delicious, savory, and healthy food. An incredibly good way to start your day.

Súper céntrico, muy bonito y excelente desayuno!!

Cons:

El elevador, es muy antiguo y solo permite 2 personas a la vez con 2 maletas, así que si vas con familia tienes que ser paciente.

A great value hotel
Pros:

Great location, a short walk from the Maria Novella station. Hotel is small and situated on the 1st floor of a beautiful old building. Access is via an old style lift which is so smooth, or the windy staircase.

The staff are very friendly and really helpful.

We booked a family room for two nights and it served us well. Good size room, bathroom was small but fine for us. Comfortable beds and pillows, water in the fridge and kettle with coffee sachets. Oh and a coffee machine!

We were surprised how quiet it was considering the location.

Pleasant breakfast.

Cons:

More fresh fruit at breakfast would have been nice but overall it was pretty good for the price.
