Not as expected
Pros:

Close to central Siena. Nice views. Parking is available.

Cons:

Minimal room with a ceiling fan that sounds like a motor boat. The walls in our room were covered with stirofoam at some places where the wall was broken. The electrical outlet fell out from the wall every time we took out our charger. Breakfast was very basic with pastries and coffee from a vendor machine.
Hidden parking cost at 5 euros per day.

Pros:

Convenient for the city, lovely country views, parking and very friendly staff. Breakfast was okay. Very quiet as our room was at the back with view over the countryside. Lots of towels.

Cons:

It is a bit tired. We had a budget room and for the price did not expect much. It could do with updating and the bathroom was a bit grubby in places but it was okay nothing like as bad as some of the reviews would suggest. Room was on third floor and there was no lift which didnt bother us. The person who complained in a very negative review about key being locked in room must have been drunk as you had to physically lock the doors with the key they dont lock automatically. Noisy plumbing. The handle had come off one of the draweres

Super miejsce na krótki pobyt (zwiedzanie Sienny). Widoki obłędne. Miła atmosfera i przemiła obsługa. Atutem jest parking. "Luksusów" nie ma ale pokój "T" ze stolikiem na zewnątrz i widokami rekompensuje wszystko. Pozdrawiam Panią z obsługi ze Słowenii.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mit Auto in Siena ideal
Pros:

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. Für uns war der Parkplatz im Innenhof, der von der Straße nicht einsehbar ist, ein großer Vorteil. Der Ausblick ins Tal ist sehr schön. In 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß ist man in der Innenstadt.

Cons:

Die Möbel waren schon etwas älter. Das Frühstück hatte eine kleine Auswahl, ist dafür aber auch nicht teuer.

Disappointing stay at what could be a great hotel.
Pros:

Location close to city and walkable. Undercover parking for our motorcycle. Fabulous view from the terrace. Boiled eggs for breakfast was a bonus.

Cons:

This hotel has so much character and potential but is in desperate need of love and care. I know it is an old traditional building which is full of charm but the furnishings are worn and the rooms very tired. Polystyrene panels on the walls to conceal the damp and the noisiest plumbing I have ever heard. There is no soundproofing which makes for a disturbed nights sleep.
Sadly our welcome on arrival was also very poor. The male receptionist ‘s indifferent manner was totally unacceptable. He could barely manage to look up from his screen and certainly made no attempt at conversation. In fact the same thing happened on checkout when I had to interrupt him during a very long telephone conversation so that we could get on our way. Had I not done so, I’m sure he would have just ignored me again. Good reception staff are an integral part of any decent hotel and this needs to be addressed without delay. I have to say the male member of staff overseeing breakfast was both courteous and polite
The coffee at breakfast was poor, provided by a vending machine in plastic cups.
