Globales Cala Blanca

Hotel is quite standard. We paid a reasonable price, but we are aware there were other guests who paid quite a lot more, which we would’ve been disappointed in paying.

The all-inclusive is bare minimum, there seems to be a lot of rules, for example pool snacks have to stay in the restaurant with no other options of snacks like fruit, ice cream without sitting for lunch. Three cocktails included, not able to have more than three drinks at one time (even if you’re a family of 4 and having 4 soft drinks).

Location is nice, a few lovely bars 5 mins away next to the beach, bus is convenient. Felt like a lovely balance of touristy and for locals.

Rooms are fine, clean and housekeeping are great. Air con is rubbish, really poor. Generally good room size.

Entertainment, bingo and lots of games going on every day. The two ladies who ran is were lovely, they really stood out in the hotel. Staff were pleasant enough.

We were not told until the last day we can use the facilities for the larger Mediterrani hotel 5 minutes away, which looks lovely.

Nice enough for a short break, it doesn’t feel like 4 star rave reviews like we’ve seen. Very average but pleasant.

The staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. There was so much on offer at meal times, I’m confused by the comments stating otherwise as I’m not sure what more they could offer. They do themed nights for dinner which was fun too!

The rooms are spotless, the cleaners work so hard, in fact all of the staff do. The entertainment stuff were enthusiastic and fun and the bar staff were great too!

It is a quiet area but only a short walk from a beautiful beach, bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel.

The tax was expected as that’s generally common knowledge but also stated when booking.

We will be back - absolutely zero complaints from us!

My wife and I have just returned from a pleasant 2 week holiday at the Casa Blanca. Our holiday didn't get off to the best of starts. We had booked, and paid extra for, a room with a pool view. Unfortunately, we were allocated room 141, which didn't have a pool view at all. Before unpacking, I returned to the reception to question why, only to be told that the hotel was fully booked and they would try and resolve the issue the following day. So we unpacked most of our clothes in order to hang them up to avoid further creasing. Then, suddenly, our room phone rang,to be told that they had found us a pool view room, so, obviously, we had to pack everything back up! But still, credit to the staff for sorting the issue quickly. It's true what many reviewers have said, that the hotel is in a quiet area with only a few bars and shops around. But we knew this, as we had done some research before we booked. People who complain about it being too quiet have only themselves to blame for not researching beforehand! It suited us fine, as we like to go out on long walks, and were more than happy to walk to Cala'n Bosch, Ciutedella and Cala'n Forcat, areas with a few more shops, bars and restaurants. We found the room to be comfortable, a lovely King sized bed, good aircon, a kettle and a TV that worked most of the time, I think the WiFi was a bit hit and miss. The bar staff, restaurant staff, the cleaners and the animation team were all very friendly. I've dropped a star because I feel the food could have been hotter and more varied, also, there never seemed to be any ice for the drinks in the restaurant. I appreciate that we ate fairly late, about 8.30pm, but surely, the ice should be getting replenished. On the few days we didn't go out walking, we always managed to get sunbeds on the grassy area, as this is our preferred location. All in all, we had a very nice stay, but probably wouldn't return, as we feel we have seen all there is to see in the surrounding areas.

Just returned from one week's holiday with my 16yr old.
Lovely relaxing stay though won't be returning.

Safe €43 +€10 deposit (expensive, most hotels are €15)
Room -located on 3rd floor, quiet, clean and air con.

Food- not much choice and not all labelled. not much choice for kids.
Service- not the friendliness of staff. One of the bar staff was very rude and abrupt.

Drinks- not much choice in way of all inclusive drinks, and operated on a token system.

Pool- busy, not very clean. People not showering before entering. Managed to get sunbeds if you turn up early.

Location- 5 min walk to the beach, small and busy.

Visited Cala Den Bosch whilst there, 10 mins on the bus €3.40 for 2 one way... bigger beach, a marina and a few more bars/souvenir shops
Not much to do around cala blana, small resort, which is ok if youre not planning to do much.

Entertainment- could be better.
On the whole would this as a 3*

Pleasant stay, but there are better all-inclusive options for the price.

Overall, I had the relaxing holiday I wanted and enjoyed my week here. The hotel has plenty of repeat visitors, which clearly says something, but having stayed at a number of all-inclusive hotels, I do think there are better options available for a similar price.

I booked a pool view room and was allocated Room 101. While you can technically see the pool, I'd describe it more as a restaurant roof view than a pool view.

The beach is only a short walk away. During the day it's small, busy and unfortunately there's a large pile of rotting seaweed that doesn't smell great. However, if you're an early riser, it's absolutely beautiful for a swim at around 7am before everyone arrives.

Pros
• Quiet at night – the bar closes at midnight, so it's easy to get a good night's sleep.
• Plenty of entertainment if you want to join in, although it's equally easy to ignore. The aqua aerobics was always great fun.
• No problem finding a sunbed.
• Fast, friendly bar service.
• Bus stop to Ciutadella is directly outside the hotel.
• Supermarket just a few minutes' walk away.
• Excellent air conditioning.
• Housekeeping was efficient every day.

Cons
• Reception staff were efficient but not especially welcoming.
• You have to pay to use the room safe. I've travelled extensively and genuinely can't remember the last time I had to pay extra for one.
• Pool towels require a deposit (I'd read this beforehand so brought my own).
• Saw flies landing on food in the buffet.
• The buffet felt a bit like a school canteen and the food quality was mixed - I chose to eat out a couple of evenings.
• Very limited choice of fresh fruit.
• Drinks by the pool require either handing over a token or returning your reusable cup each time.
• Only one small bottle of water was provided in the room on arrival and it wasn't replenished. No complimentary soft drinks or beer in the fridge either.
• Wi-Fi was extremely poor. I ended up using 5G for my entire stay but heard off another guest there was another step you needed to take if you were on an iPhone
• No complimentary ice creams during the day unless you had dessert at lunch or dinner – otherwise you have to buy them.
• Witnessed a bit of anti-social behaviour – rinsing sand covered flip flops in the hotel pool when there’s pool side showers and towels on loungers at 8am but only came to sit on them after 2pm

One final point really let the hotel down.

The day before I left, I asked reception about somewhere to shower before my evening flight. The shower booking sheet for the following day was completely empty, so I booked the 2pm slot.

When I arrived at reception, I watched the key for the shower room being handed to a couple. Instead, I was taken to the fourth floor, then up two further flights of stairs, past what seemed to be dozens of dead flies, to what looked like a former massage room with a shower cubicle. There was no lock on the door, no toiletries, no hairdryer and the entire floor was completely deserted. It felt very strange and, if I'm honest, rather unsettling and creepy up there. It certainly wasn't the shower facility I'd been expecting and left a disappointing final impression.

Despite the negatives, I did have a relaxing holiday and met some really lovely people there. If your priorities are a quiet hotel, easy access to Ciutadella and spending your days by the pool, you'll probably enjoy it. Just be aware that, in my opinion, there are better all-inclusive hotels offering better food and facilities for similar money.

We travelled here, 2 adults and 2 16 year olds in the middle of July, literally just about to leave after a weeks stay. All of the previous reviews seem fair if I’m honest and really they are based on personal opinion but what we can say is that it’s average. It’s a very quiet place with not much to do, if you like that sort of thing that’s great but if you’re more active don’t bother. Lots of pros and lots of cons which everyone has covered, for us the food was ok, plentiful and tasty. The rooms clean and tidy. Pool area could do with improvements (decking area shocking, any builder or in the trade you will spot this right away, very bouncy) entertainment is what you would expect but tamed down a little from other all inclusive places, quiet, random times like start water polo at 5pm and other games around this time. The team are also not the friendliest, Judith in particular we found very rude along with some bar staff, inexperienced I would put this down to, not welcoming and only target certain guests. Overall wouldn’t come back but not a bad week in the sun.

Apologies to those regulars at this hotel if my review upsets you – we know because some of you were very loud telling everyone how many times you have stayed at Globales Cala Blanca, but we will not be going back. There are a couple of plus points dotted around in this review, see if you can spot them ...
If following this review, the hotel respond saying “thank you for highlighting these things we will certainly look into them” then do not believe it. Most of these issues were highlighted to the hotel while we were there and they did nothing at all about any of them.
This hotel is All Inclusive to the bare minimum – they provide what they have to provide to call it all inclusive and not a thing more!
The arrival at hotel reception was very poor, it was just 2 of us, so no crowds, no friendly greeting from the receptionist, no welcome drink, we were not made to feel at all welcome, it was a case of going through the motions. We were given a piece of paper with meal times on it and that was about it. We had to go back to reception later to ask about pool towels, wifi and to get someone to fix our television. We also asked about the room safe but the money they wanted for 10 days it would probably have been cheaper to buy new passports if the were stolen!
We did notice later that on some days they had brought a drinks trolley into reception, maybe to offer a welcome drink to new arrivals – but it was only an alcoholic drink on offer so no good for non drinkers or children
There is wifi throughout the hotel but it is very weak and incredibly slow, so to ensure the best reception you probably need to loiter around the reception area.
On occasions the televisions in the room freeze, we were there at the start of the world cup 2026 and these instances were most likely when so many people were watching the football in their rooms at night. We had no issues with hot water in the shower or water pressure but we spoke to couples on the 1st floor who said taking a shower was at times dangerous because the water was so hot of switched between hot and very cold.
Our room was on the third floor at the front of the hotel which was quiet, just what we wanted, the room was clean and the beds comfortable and cleaners unobtrusive. However the hotel only has one lift (no service lift?) so on more than one occasion the lift doors opened and a member of housekeeping was there with a full trolley of laundry leaving no space for guests!
We had 2 bottles of water in our fridge when we arrived. After a couple of days I asked when these would be replaced as we had drunk them. I was advised we could buy more from the vending machine or refill them from the water dispenser but they would not be replaced.
The food in the restaurant, and there is only one restaurant, was on most occasions very poor.
Labelling of the food for allergens was very slap dash, even dangerous at times. Some food had no labels at all, some labels were in the wrong placeOn more than one occasion I questioned if an item was gluten free, they looked at it, checked online and miraculously the label changed in front of me, warning me it contained gluten!
But they did manage to serve chicken Paella which had no chicken in it, lamb tagine that several people warned us not to touch as it was all bone and gristle, a pork dish that had an excessive amount of salt in it – maybe to try and cover up the poor quality of the meat. A chicken dish that was all bone , skin and cartlidge and sat for over an hour with no one touching it at all. Prawn Avocado that were tiny and had one prawn in and jelly you could drink – they removed this from display when I pointed that out. I felt sorry for the staff as they advised they got to eat what we did not – no wonder they are all quite slim!
One random question – why are most hotels abroad, but particularly Spain, unable to do bacon? They call it bacon but we all know it's a poor excuse for it
Staff were slow to clear tables on occasions, some worked exceptionally hard whilst others....
Well done to Carolina though who was always friendly, helpful and had a smile. So good that she will probably find somewhere better to work with less hassle if she tries.
The drinks available on All Inclusive were very limited (copy of drinks menu attached). You could drink as much beer as you wanted all day but if you wanted, or in my case being Coeliac, a gluten free beer then you had to pay for it! A very limited selection of cocktails too and only 2 drinks per person at any one time. No ice creams available from the bar unless you paid for them, if it's ice cream you want you have to get it at lunch or dinner time in the restaurant or again in the restaurant during snack time. But woe betide you if you put some in a paper cup and try to take it outside – they will rugby tackle you and tell you you cannot do that.
Let's head outside where it's not generally too difficult to get a sunbed (June so the hotel isn't full) or an umbrella. However well over 50% of the sunbeds are well past their best, the seams on the material is stretched and splitting meaning that when laying on them you are directly on top of the supporting metal bars. There is also a problem with people reserving sunbeds in the morning and then not appearing until late afternoon.
None of the tables around the pool were wiped or cleaned ever (actually we cleaned a different one every day) and had sticky residue from spilt drinks etc over them. The pool area around the edges was very grubby, the edges of the terrace particularly, but it was obvious why when seeing a person with a hose come out in the early evening and splash water around, the hose is not long enough to reach the edges and no effort is made to sweep or clean – just to splash water around and wet the terrace.
We also witnessed two people with strimmers using them around the bar decking and pool areas at about 7pm one evening while people were sitting drinking and still sunbathing. Has anyone witnessed the damage a stone being flicked up by a strimmer does when it hits a person?
As for the outside bar decking...Sitting in most places on this decking and trying to have a drink is like being on deck onboard a ship in rough seas and if anyone walks by close to your table hold onto your drink or it's likely to fall over. The supports under the decking are clearly rotting or in need of additional support and I would be very surprised once the hotel is at capacity if the decking survives the season without collapsing.
On a big plus, we were up early to depart on our final day and met Gisela on reception. She was excellent and rather surprised and disappointed when we said we would not be back.
Also well done to Rafael the TUI rep who always had a smile and would try to help but is on a hiding to nothing when hotel management do not care.
There lies the crux of the problem at this hotel, management are invisible and clearly do not care, guests keep paying and coming through the door so why change anything? Reviews like this will not change anything but at least you can't say you were not warned if the read this and then book a holiday here

The hotel was incredibly comfortable, with incredible chicken both lunch and dinner great for protein. The beach is only a 2 minute walk with a gorgeous sunset, the receptionist tania was incredibly helpful who explained all the tourist options in incredible detail. The pool is lovely and warm with underwater exercise, the beds are comfortable with lots of room in the hotel aswell, when we arrived it was spotless, overall an incredible experience for us as guests.

We stayed at this hotel last year, and whilst we've often said we'd go back to different hotels, we never have. Until this one! There is something so very special about this place. There is alot of repeat bookings here which says everything, so this time we saw people we already knew. It was like going to a local pub, where you know everyone and everything is familiar, and those you don't know you'll get to know. It was the same with the staff, and it was so lovely that they recognised us and us them.

The hotel is super clean, so poolside, rooms, dining rooms and bar area are all looked after and feel welcoming. The food was really great, and being coeliac, they made provisions for me for gluten free bread, etc, with a toaster just for that bread. There were themed evenings, such as Oriental, Italian, Mexican, alongside very Spanish dishes. The salad bar was incredible. It would take a very fussy eater to not enjoy the food here, and we definitely loved it.

A special mention to Mayte, Judith and Lucia, the entertainment ladies, who were incredible. They organise and deliver events through the day, such as boules, archery, aqua dance and shoolin, plus sort out the bingo and live events in the evening. They are all super enthusiastic, really friendly, always have time to chat, and full of happy energy that is infectious and makes everyone want to take part. They are the heartbeat of this hotel, and it would feel too quiet without them. Cheers, ladies!

There is a rep based in the hotel (Rafael) who was lovely. We didn't need to arrange trips this time as we'd done that last year, but he did help us with places to visit with our hire car. Definitely go to Cuitadella, Mahon, Binibeca, El Toro mountain pass and some of the beaches. Buses are cheap and stops outside the hotel for Cuitadella. To go to Mahon, head for Globales Mediterani, turn right then at the roundabout right again to pick up the bus on the main road.

We absolutely loved coming back, and we'll be back again so see staff and guests who we regard as friends now. Thank you so much for making our holiday so wonderful.

Spent a week here with our grown up children. I would most definitely give the entertainment ladies, Maria-Theresa, Lucia and Judith 5 out of 5 stars. They are absolutely amazing, so friendly, chilled out and work very hard. We loved joining in with the activities, met some lovely fellow competitors 😁 the aqua dance and aqua fit was such fun, the music was great. 😁 Because of the heatwave that week, the pool felt like a hot tub by the end of our week. 🤣🤣
Pool/seaview room was lovely, had all you needed, was very quiet at night.
You're not going to starve on the AI, however it did sometimes feel like it needed a little more for a 4 star hotel. One of us Vegan, and we asked numerous times what was on offer, we were told the labels would say, however some didn't have labels or didn't seem convincing that they were Vegan. So a lot of chips and salads and fruit was eaten. 😳 No sweet/desserts, like a plant based yoghurt.
We did ask the chef if we could have some plain pasta one evening, and he showed us the pasta on offer, which was covered in cheese.
The mimosa's were delicious for breakfast. 🥂
The out of a bottle pre-made cocktails didn't feel like a 4 star either, these were also served in the evening.
However the beer San Miguel was lovely and the Cava. You could refill water bottles and ask for ice. 😁
Evening entertainment, we saw the Rock Duo they were amazing, and the two guys singing and guitar were good, had some bingo fun.

Overall, it is a beautiful hotel set in the most lovely quiet safe setting, we went in June, so only a few little kids around so didn't ever feel busy, the staff are friendly if you show them some friendliness and acknowledgment, it's 5 minutes walk to the beach cove, 30 mins walk to the next Cove, both with bars and restaurants, the sunsets are definitely worth a wander along the front, they are amazing 😍

3rd visit and was not dissapointed again warm welcome room was not ready for an hour but went and sat on decking to have drink while we waited felt we were home for a week so many faces we had seen on previous visits staff and holidaymakers. It is such a nice chilled place lovely pool rooms clean nice size bar area and entertainment area good size, mayte and animation team fantastic as always bar staff excellent never long to get a drink reception staff alwats helpfull food for everyone its all inclusive so theres always something to choose overall excellent as always thank you globales cala blanca once again and see you soon!

Lovely hotel with amazing staff on a very pretty island. Special shout out to Tui Rep, Raphael who was amazing. We had issue with room and although could not be sorted for a couple of days as hotel was full, he kept contact with us and we were moved to another room. Got to say the Manager was spot on too, very friendly and even after we were moved, kept asking us if everything was okay. Food and drink good, plenty of choice. Bacon at breakfast wasn't great but we found a great place to eat called Restaurant Cala Blanca a few minutes walk away, overlooking pretty cove, which serves a beautiful English breakfast for £7.99. A trip to Ciutadella is worthwhile, bus stop outside the hotel and also Cala'n Bosch (bus stop about 10 min walk, not far past Mediteranee hotel. Had a lovely breakfast at La Fontana (overlooking marina). Entertainment on an evening was what you'd expect (not for us but most people seemed to enjoy it). We would head out after dinner to the seafront and have a few drinks at The Blarney Stone (if you can get a seat) or at Il Vespro (restaurant adjacent but often easy to get a table just for drinks), lovely spot to watch the sun set. The staff work incredibly hard at this hotel to make your stay enjoyable. We always put a couple of euros in the tip tins whenever we ate in restaurant or got a drink but it's amazing how many people don't, which I find odd as most people would tip if they went for meal or drink outside the hotel!

A great stay at a great hotel.
A warm welcome and able to access All Inclusive food, drink and amenities even though was early arrival which was very welcome after early flight.
The room was good size with very comfy bed, fridge, kettle with tea and coffee, large balcony and good air con. All kept very clean by friendly maids.
Always able to find sunbeds and parasols by the pool or in the gardens.
Friendly daytime activities and evening entertainment.
Short walk to the beach or bus stop outside hotel if you wanted to go further.
Food was very good with lots of choices, drinks local brands and very good but with option of paying if you wanted perticular brand.
A quiet resort in a mainly residential area no loud lively clubs and bars nearbly so if you want a comfortable relaxing holiday i would definetly recommend this hotel. We will be returning.

Second time at this hotel, We stayed from 10th to 24th June as two couples in our 50s.
I could almost copy and paste from last years review however, This time round we had a pool and seaview room on the 2nd floor.
The room as before was spotless with a kettle, Fridge, Hairdryer, TV with English Channels and Aircon.
I must mention that the aircon was not very good as we had the sun on our balcony from mid day until sunset.
Especially during the heatwave in the second week.
Impossible to use the balcony as it was too hot in the afternoon early evening.
The food as before was fantastic with themed nights every day and we only ate out 3 times in 14 days.
Can't understand why people complain about lack of choice, We always found something tasty.
The Animation team were fantastic and a true asset to the hotel.
Mayte, Judith and Lucia remembered us by name from last year and were genuinely happy to see us.
We took park in all of the activities and met some great people.
There were lots of returning guests and familiar faces including staff around the hotel.
The drinks at the bar were great with San Miguel on tap as well as all local spirits and Cava always available even at breakfast.
The bar opens at 10am and shuts at midnight.
We Always managed to get sun loungers despite the hotel being at full capacity.
This is a great hotel in a great location for getting out and about with a shop 2 mins away and Cala Blanca Beach with restaurants was 5 mins away.
The strip of shops and bars was about 15 mins walk.
Cala Santandria beach was around 30 mins walk.
You need to visit Ciutudella whilst there either by bus directly outside the hotel or by taxi for around 10 to 12 Euros.
Over all we had a great time and will definitely return.
All of the staff here are happy to help and make the holiday very special
This is not a party hotel but they have some fabulous live music most evenings and enjoyed busting some moves on the dance floor not to mention the bingo every evening.

My husband and I recently stayed here on our first trip to Menorca. As we love visiting new places, we decided to give the island a try, and overall we had a lovely holiday.

The check-in process was excellent. Although there was quite a large queue, we were checked in within five minutes. We were greeted with a welcome drink (gin and lemon), which was a lovely touch. However, there wasn’t a non-alcoholic option for those who don’t drink or for children. While the check-in was efficient, I do feel it would have been helpful if reception had spent a little more time explaining things such as the Wi-Fi, safe rental, and the local bus service to Ciutadella. We ended up having to return to reception to ask for this information.

The hotel only has one small lift, which is quite slow and only fits around three people comfortably, but it did the job.

Our room was clean, spacious enough, and had everything we needed, although it is definitely starting to look a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment. The beds were extremely firm, which unfortunately left us with backache each morning, although this may suit some guests. The air conditioning worked well, the balcony was a good size, and having both a bath and shower was a bonus. There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space—more than I’ve experienced in many hotels.

The Wi-Fi was actually some of the best we’ve experienced at an all-inclusive hotel, with a strong and reliable connection throughout our stay. However, this was another piece of information that wasn’t explained during check-in. We had to return to reception to find out why it wasn’t working, only to be told we needed to collect a QR code to access it. It would have been really helpful if this had been mentioned when we first arrived, as it would have saved guests an unnecessary trip back to reception.

Tea and coffee facilities were provided and replenished whenever the room was cleaned, and the housekeeping staff were more than happy to provide extra supplies if needed. There was also a TV with several English channels, including BBC and ITV, which was a pleasant surprise. A mini fridge was included, along with two complimentary bottles of water on arrival. These weren’t replenished during our stay, but there is a water station available in the hotel.

The room safe is available for an additional charge, which was disappointing for a hotel advertised as four-star. It required a €10 cash deposit and worked out at around £50 for the week. Personally, I don’t think guests should have to pay extra for a safe in a hotel of this rating. There was no iron provided in the room, but toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, and hand wash were available.

The housekeeping team were fantastic throughout our stay. On my birthday, they even surprised me with a bottle of cava and two glasses in our room, which was a really thoughtful gesture and much appreciated.

We stayed on an all-inclusive basis. Unfortunately, breakfast was probably the weakest meal for us. The fruit juices were very watery, the bread and cereal selection was limited, and there wasn’t much fresh fruit available. The pastries tended to become dry from being left uncovered. There was a cooked breakfast selection, which was decent enough, but I think anyone with dietary requirements, such as gluten intolerance or coeliac disease, may struggle due to the limited choice and unclear food labelling.

Lunch and dinner varied depending on the day. Some themed evenings, particularly the Italian and Asian nights, were very enjoyable, while other meals lacked variety. We appreciate that this is a smaller hotel and food waste is something they have to consider, but a little more choice would have been welcome. The desserts were fairly standard for an all-inclusive Spanish hotel, although the soft-serve ice cream was excellent. More fresh fruit would have been a nice addition.

The only real frustration in the restaurant was the live cooking station. The chefs often allowed food to completely run out before cooking more, resulting in queues of around ten minutes. The restaurant itself felt a little like a canteen at busy times, with hard seating and tables quite close together, making it feel a little chaotic.

Drinks in the restaurant were self-service, including beer, wine, soft drinks, and water. One odd thing we noticed was that the Diet Pepsi was consistently very flat.

There is also a snack service available between meals, although we didn’t use it.

The hotel has one main bar, which was perfectly adequate for the size of the hotel, although I imagine it could become very busy during peak season. San Miguel was served on draught, which was a bonus, and there was a water station available, although more than one would have been useful. One thing that could definitely be improved is providing an all-inclusive drinks menu, as we had to keep asking what was included.

The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and supervised by a lifeguard. As expected, some guests reserved sunbeds very early each morning, but we always managed to find somewhere, some using the grassy area. The pool temperature was comfortable, and there was also a separate shallow pool.

There was plenty of daytime entertainment around the pool, and evening entertainment was available too, although we didn’t attend any of the evening shows.

The staff throughout the hotel were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They really are one of the hotel’s biggest strengths and made us feel very welcome. The hotel has a loyal following of returning guests, and it’s easy to understand why. It’s friendly, affordable, and has a relaxed atmosphere. That said, compared with other four-star hotels we’ve stayed in across Spain, I don’t personally feel it quite reaches four-star standard.

If you need a taxi, reception will happily order one for you. Unfortunately, taxi availability on the island seems quite limited. We were told ours would arrive in ten minutes, but after waiting over an hour we eventually cancelled. While this isn’t the hotel’s fault, it would perhaps be better if guests were simply told that waiting times are unpredictable. Instead, we used the local bus to Ciutadella twice, which was excellent. It cost just €1.70 each way, but make sure you have cash as cards aren’t accepted.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, so anyone looking for nightlife should do their research before booking. There is a supermarket just a two-minute walk away, along with a few bars and restaurants, while the main commercial area is around a 15-minute walk.

The nearby coves—and indeed the whole island—are absolutely stunning and were undoubtedly the highlight of our holiday.

Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed discovering Menorca. While there are areas where the hotel could improve, particularly if it wishes to maintain its four-star rating, the friendly staff and peaceful location made for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely return to Menorca in the future, although next time we’d probably hire a car and stay in a villa so we can explore even more of this beautiful island.

Hotel, pool & gardens are spotlessly clean. Two minute walk down to the cove which is beautiful & you pass the supermarket on the way. Beautiful little bar at the cove called Hola Ola. Bus stop is right outside the back of the hotel & buses ran regularly & only €1.70 to go into the main city which is beautiful. There is a ‘naughty corner’ as we called it for smokers but only a few people used it but if you got caught smoking anywhere else you got a telling off 🤣 (didnt bother us as none of us smoked). There seemed to be one rule for one & another rule for another, there are ‘notices’ dotted around about tops must be worn inside, dont come in wet, dont sit in pools with drinks, no smoking or vaping etc etc but only seemed to be in place for certain people 🤷‍♀️. The snack bar was in the restaurant & you cannot bring food out (although you can eat your own snacks from the supermarket in the gardens or terrace area) and you cannot fill a water bottle in there even when the bar area was closed which we couldnt understand. Reception team arent helpful at all & could do with some customer service training. We got given no information about the hotel ie: meal times, activities etc, luckily we spoke to people who had been a few days & gave us the info. Animation team are brilliant. Not really much for young children. Bar team are good

Me and my friend have just come back from a lovely stay. Hotel was clean. Our room was big, plenty of space for the two of us. Wardrobe with 2 full length mirrors. Thw staff were lovely. The tui rep was always on hand, we had a lovely welcome from him at the welcome meeting, he was very informative about the island and trips available. Very helpful. He is an asset to tui. Cleaners were fantastic. Always said hello as we passed them 😊 rooms were spotless. Food was lovely and fresh, we saw them take trays away after a short time to replenish with new. Theme nights were really good. Plently of sun beds. We used to get up go down just before breakfast to put our towels down, have breakfast and go to them.never any towels down at silly times and left. Pools were lovely and clean, we saw them cleaning them everyday. The drinks in the AI werent amazing like some places ive stayed. As only certain cocktails allowed and certain spirits. But we did enjoy the couple we liked on the menu. We had to ask for less alcohol in our drinks as they were very strong 🤣 heres bars and restaurants down the road or a short walk into the town with a few shops and pharmacy. The beach cove is beautiful 🩷 lovely stay overall and would definitely return! 🥰
