Escapada 1 noche a Zamora muy agradable en el parador. La piscina y desayuno increíbles, no tuve la oportunidad de comer en su restaurante. Lo único deberian actualizar las teles de las habitaciones.

Wonderful Parador in the middle of the old town. Usual high standards combined with plenty of character and charm. Used adjacent public car park, free on Sundays. Breakfast excellent.

A gem in western Spain
Pros:

A small town patrimony that is worthy of a few days. Comfortable suites in the old palacia, and terrific antique sites of architectural significance within 1/2 mile walk. We arrived for the local artisanal ceramics market....and bought well. Local Spanish blade dealer sol me a killer chef's chopping knife at 1/4 what I'd have paid in the States.

Pros:

The Paradores in Spain are the best hotel option, however expensive, this parador was actually very affordable of course Zamora is a small not excessively visited by tourists.
