Die Lage ist top, direkt am Isartor. Das Zimmer war ansprechend und sehr sauber, wir haben prima geschlafen. Die Lage des Zimmers zum Hof mit wenig Lichteinfall war in diesen heißen Tagen super, im Winter hätte ich es etwas düster gefunden. Frühstück absolut ok. Wir waren schon zum dritten Mal dort und fühlten uns erneut sehr wohl.

Cons:

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gerade so noch ok. Den auf der Homepage gelisteten Zimmerpreis „ab xy Euro“ haben wir noch nie erreicht, es war immer teurer. Klar, in München gibt es ständig große Veranstaltungen, das macht sich bemerkbar.

Pros:

Grosse, saubere, geschmackvolle Zimmer, sehr gute Beleuchtung, tolle Lage und dennoch ruhig. Gut vorbereitetes, schnelles und unkompliziertes Check-in.

Cons:

Es fehlt ein Vergrößerungsspiegel (Rasier- und Schminkspiegel) im Bad

Too expensive for just being a reasonable experience overall
Pros:

Location, car park, breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Poor value for money overall. The standard room does not meet 4* standards. Room and bathroom in particular need updating. We've paid € 380 for one night, including breakfast and parking

Prime location and a comfortable stay
Pros:

The location of this hotel is fabulous for sightseeing. We got the train from the airport and it's located less than 5 minutes walk from the Isator stop. Had a slight problem with our room when we checked in which was rectified swiftly and without a fuss. Bed was super comfortable. Every member of staff was friendly and breakfast on the terrace each morning was a treat

Outstanding Experience
Pros:

Our overall experience was outstanding from start to finish. Accommodations were exceptional. Everything was immaculate. Everyone we came in contact with was courteous and accommodating. The breakfast was served in a beautiful quaint room with enough options for everyone.
I highly recommend Hotel Torbrau and would definitely return.

Cons:

We wished the air conditioning provided more cooling but again Munich was experiencing record temperatures. This is minor and does not constitute a negative about the property
