Pros:

Hotel decoration was rural and lovely.
Sitting rooms with a grand feeling. You could sit down and read or enjoy a drink.
Location is right beside the cable car.
Staff very friendly.
Cafe staff are very professional and very nice. Food and drinks were served very quickly.
Breakfast options was very good: hummus, avocado, local cakes, hot food available
Cold and hot picnic available to purchase displayed at the breakfast room and may be displayed somewhere else but did not see it.

Cons:

Our room was noisy with the water running in the toilet that we could not fix.
Once you are in Fuente De there is no much happening around in there apart from hiking and cable car so if you are planning to go for dinner somewhere else you would need a vehicle.
Dinner gets booked out very quickly and needs a reservation prior and time
Breakfast starts at 8am which could be late for hikers and time needs to be booked in advanced.

Hotel decorated in a rural style
Lovely cafe staff
Location is just right beside Fuente De.
Rooms were very quiet and spacious

Cons:

We had to choose a booking time for dinner and breakfast well in advanced. Breakfast time starts at 8am which could be not optimal for hikers.
Our room 127 had the thermostat in the shower not working properly and we had cold/warm showers. For the amount of money we paid I was not impressed. Nothing was offered in return.

Pros:

The history, the way in which it has been restored and the comfort. Should be in a James Bond film!

Cons:

Both here and at Fuente De, there didn’t seem to be enough staff. Breakfast staff were stretched, working so hard but I could see other patriots getting frustrated waiting

Everything we hoped for and more.
Pros:

The Parador has a wonderful location in the Picos mountains next to the cable car. We had a room (No. 148) with the best view of the mountains and balcony (see photo attached). We loved staying here.

Cons:

Nothing, all was perfect.
