ok for a base to sight see from. then come home and go to bed. we did not eat at the hotel at all.
Pros:

we did NOT use th dining room as we were eating out. the hotel was a base only.
best feature..watching the boats go down Neptunes stair case

Cons:

the bedroom was tired. the carpet was stained the bathroom could have done with a deep clean in the shower area, the wardrobe was a bit passed it. the veranda needed a bit of TLC.

Good overall but quite expensive as breakfast was not included.
Pros:

Location was great, staff were very good.

Cons:

The shower was not great as could move and spray the ceiling, and shower head would move around when trying to adjust the temperature. The toilet seat was not securely fixed and would move around.

Pros:

Location was good

Cons:

Very very dated hotel decor. Our bathroom had a shower curtain and it was simply disgusting and mouldy. The manager did replace it once I complained though and was very nice about it. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was small. We don’t think it was worth the price we paid.

Cons:

Bett viel zu klein. Hygiene war leider nicht gut. Wasserdruck in der Dusche nicht vorhanden. Duschkopf komplett verkalkt und alt. Sollte am besten mal gewechselt werden. Auch Fenster teilweise sehr alt und herruntergekommen.

Die Betten sind typisch Englisch sehr schmal und kurz (ist aber ein bekanntes Phänomen).

Great location for a stop over.
Pros:

The location was fab for our one night stopover. The evening meal was really lovely and breakfast was fab too. The position, next to the locks, made it a good spot for a walk after dinner.

Cons:

We asked for a pet free room, and whilst there was no evidence of pets and it was very clean, I did have a reaction to something in the room and sneezed a lot in the morning and then for the rest of the day.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, direkt am Kanal gelegen, mit schönen Zimmern und leckerem Essen.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren lecker, es gab auch andere Dinge auf der Speisekarte als die üblichen Burger und Fish and Chips. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Blick nach hinten auf die Staustufen des Caledonian Canal und würden dieses Hotel für die Region Fort William auf alle Fälle empfehlen.

Pros:

El trato. Llegamos tarde y mantuvieron la cocina del restaurante abierta para darnos de cenar e incluso nos permitieron luego pedir postres. Buen desayuno a petición. La ubicación genial para salir dirección de Mallaig.
