Didn’t love it at all.
Pros:

Close proximity to King’s Cross station

Cons:

Put in room on top floor. Had two suitcases and had to pull them up one at a time. I thought I would have a heart attack. No offer of assistance whatsoever. I’m 75.

Pros:

I really enjoyed the location. The close proximity to King Cross Station made it so easy to get around the city. And there were lots of restaurants walking distance. I also liked the ability to choose a room with my own restroom and shower.

Cons:

The bed and pillow were very old and stiff. The window also would not stay open, and it got very stuffy quickly.

Scarey Stay in London "Cell"!

Receptionist was pleasant. Location was why I booked it.

Cons:

Room was tiny with no air. No windows and the rooflight is covered with curtains!? Extremely hot and stuffy. When I tried to leave to ask to change rooms I couldn't get the door open as there's no handle. I had to pull it by the little latch but, as I have chronic arthritis in both thumbs and wrists and am awaiting operation number 13 on one, I struggled and really hurt myself. It was extremely panicking as I was underground at the end of a corridor and no-one could hear me.
The receptionist said they were full, I don't know london so had to go back to the room.
The bed is very uncomfortable with a lumpy .matress and only one very thin pillow. The sheets were clean, unlike the dirty set of drawers and stained stool.
There were 2 old, scruffy teabags, one coffee satchet but no sugar and no milk!
The toilet roll was almost empty, good job I had tissues!!
The bathroom was clean, best bit about the room except the light kept coming on during the night for no reason!
Could not get a decent signal on the TV so listened to my phone all night as couldn't sleep due to the heat and stuffiness.
Never complained before but this was a terrible place to be put, and I paid for it!!!
I have been a long time customer of Booking.com and have many bookings with them for my future trip but this has really got me questioning how much do they know about the places they do business with.

Disappointing
Pros:

Staff was lovely.

Toilet and shower facilities was a shared space in the hallway near the stairs

Couldn’t stay for more than 2 hours with the flies in my room. Awful.

The location and the price

Cons:

The room was covered in flies that bit me throughout the night. I couldn’t get rid of them as much as I tried. The noise from the street was unbearable as well so had to shut the window and it was extremely hot.

You get what you pay for.
Pros:

You have to judge a hotel partly on how much you paid. At this price for a London hotel my expectations were not very high, but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the shower worked ok.

Cons:

Some of the furniture had seen better days, but given how much I paid for the room I wasn't too concerned. The stairs were quite steep and narrow, but having said that I managed and I'm 73 and was carrying a large bag.
