Semiramis City Hotel

Das Hotel liegt zentral.
Tatsächlich stimmen alle vorherigen Bewertungen. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Buffed zum Abend sehr abwechslungsreich, zum frühstück alles was man braucht.
Wir haben schon einige 4sterne Hotels gesehen, die in die Jahre gekommen sind, aber hier war alles top 👍

Good location, nice facilities, clean rooms and good breakfast.

This was our first visit to Rhodes & we were made very welcome at the hotel. Our room was quite compact & we had a balcony that overlooked the small Greek Church which is on the other side of the road. We found it was not possible to use the shower without getting the bathroom floor wet & we were unfortunate to be on the same floor as a group of noisy school children, which was disturbing at night-time.
All the staff at the hotel were excellent & a special mention to Savvy in the restaurant who is a real people person without being overbearing & manages to communicate in several different languages to make everyone welcome. We would have liked to give 5 stars, but those shower doors are not fit for purpose & need replacing.

Location:
Great location, very close to the old and new town and a beach.

Atmosphere:
Staff were incredible, especially Savvas and the restaurant team, always happy, chatty and working hard. The bar staff made the best pina colada Ive ever had.

Rooms:
Rooms let this down massively for myself and my partner. The actual bedroom itself, size was fine, however the rooms are poorly insulated and for the full 10 days we stayed, alls we could hear was constant chair scraping across floors from the room above and next to us and the neighbouring rooms tv blaring and vibrating as this was the wall our bed was against.
There is a huge vent above the shower, that cannot be closed and as a result, can hear everything from the neighbouring bathroom, including their bowel movements, showering etc, bathroom is tiny, and I mean tiny, the shower completely flooded the floor each use as the shower doors do not fit the shower properly, we were offered to change rooms, however, we declined as there was a school trip staying with around 30 kids in different rooms and did not want to be near them as we could hear them screaming/shouting anytime they left their rooms.
For the first few days, our room absolutely stunk of cigarettes coming through the vents, our clothes, bedding and hair stunk of smoke.

Food:
Food was awful in our opinion, not a great selection to choose from, my partner will literally eat anything, and he struggled to find things he'd eat most nights, we ate out mostly despite being half board, breakfast was also a let down until our last day where there was more of a variety, hardly any fresh fruit and was tinned fruit cocktail most mornings, again, ended up going out for breakfast most days.

The location, staff and drinks were great here, but the rooms would not have us returning again unfortunately, and we would like to highlight how great the staff are here.

Staying at Semiramis City Hotel was such a pleasant experience! The location is great, noise levels are great! We were staying as a large family! The receptionist greeted us warmly, the catering team was exceptional - greeted us every morning, supported us with finding the right spaces at the tables, we were always looked after as a large family! In the restaurant, team manager Savvy was welcoming to us and found a way to have a conversation with us amongst all the business, we felt that he and the team had a personal way of approaching us and remembering the quests! The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely in the moorings and evenings and we had a chance to dance! Thank you! The food was also delicious! The cleaning team was fabulous, the creativity of the towel animals didn't go unnoticed- it made us laugh every day! The rooms were cleaned to the highest standard! We had the best time and would not hesitate to return!

Just back from a week in Rhodes where we stayed at the Semiramis Hotel. The hotel is in a really good position, just set back from the seafront and a short walk from the new and old towns. The room was nice, very clean, plenty of space, had a nice balcony and was cleaned every day. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and in a nice setting. The bar area was really nice and all the drinks were reasonably priced. The small pool area was a nice suntrap and there were plenty of sun loungers.
The best thing about the Semiramis were the staff, the reception staff were lovely and always ready to help (with a smile), the cleaners were really nice as were the staff in the restaurant. A special mention to Savvas who was always very friendly, always smiling and chatty and gave us some great advice on where to visit on the island.
We really enjoyed our time at the Semiramis and would definitely stay there again if we come to Rhodes in the future.

We have not long returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Rooms were very small, no room to lay out 2 suitcases.Lifts were also small and awful, you could only fit three people max. For a big hotel not good enough! Not much room to walk around bed and constantly knocking tv on wall! It was well cleaned daily though. Food was a big disappointment. We were had half board, breakfast offerings had no real fresh fruits.. just tinned fruit cocktail, peaches and whole apples and oranges . No melon or fresh pineapple as is normally offered. The evening meals weren’t that good either, minimal choice, hot food really not hot. The day I did get excited when mousakka was in the menu , it was stone cold :( . The desserts were constantly frozen in the middle, I complained to the restaurant manager when he asked if all was good- he replied the freezer had issues that day. They were frozen all week….Location pretty good. Not sure if I’d hurry back as I was so disappointed with the food.

Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου ήταν εξαιρετικό, πάντα ρόθυμο να βοηθήσει. Το πρωινό πλούσιο. Η θερμοκρασία του δωματίου πάντα η σωστή.

Un hotel agradable, sencillo. Un buen buffet de desayuno. El personal amable. Para estancias cortas. Ubicación buena. La ciudad antigua está a 15 minutos caminando. Cerca de restaurantes y almacenes. Cuentan con servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto.
