Amazing location and friendly staff
Pros:

Fabulous location next to the Gibrafaro Castle with views across the harbour. Our superior room was clean and comfortable- lovely firm mattress. The staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was clean - situated on the roof of the building with wonderful views.

Cons:

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Over packaged in every way and much of the bread and pastries stale. Fruit was weirdly rationed into tiny bowls. Not good value for money.

A beautiful hotel with friendly people and amazing views, highly recommended
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with fabulous views. The staff are among the best I have come across in a hotel. The reception staff do so much to help you enjoy your stay and the restaurant and bar staff are so friendly and cheerful. The blonde lady on reception and the gentleman went out of their way to help us and Estefania was so lovely and cheerful. The cleaning ladies are also lovely and the room was always spotless. We will definitely come back.
The food is fantastic, at breakfast there is a great selection to order and also a buffet, the cakes are delicious. We had lunch at the bar which was very good and dinner one evening in the restaurant which was excellent.
Easy to get in Malaga by taxi or bus and Malaga itself is stunning, so much to do and see.

Cons:

Hard to find anything to dislike but it’s fair to say the walk up and down is not easy, however it’s all part of the charm of the hotel and it wouldn’t put us off staying there again. Just factor bus/taxi prices in the cost of your stay. Reception will help you get taxis that are reasonable and once in the town the taxis at the taxi rank are a good price.
The pool area is a little small and dated but it wouldn’t put us off staying again. There’s no pool bar but you can order drinks from the pool area to be brought up.

The only good thing we found was the view from hotel rooms.

Wir haben eine schöne Urlaubswoche genießen können.
Pros:

Die Lage des Parador ist fantastisch und man hat einen herrlichen Ausblick vom Zimmer über Malaga und dem Hafen. Zur Stadt ( nach unten ) und somit auch zum Hafen kann man gut zu Fuß durch den Park gehen oder den Bus der Linie 35 nehmen, die in der Nähe des Parador beginnt.
Das Personal war, bis auf eine Ausnahme, sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksbuffet war leider nicht dem Preis entsprechend. Die Produkte waren teilweise von keiner guten Qualität. Der angebotene Lachs war aus einer salzigen Öllake und nicht frisch. Der Schinken wurde sehr unappetitlich angerichtet und das Obst war teilweise kritisch und nicht frisch.

What a setting
Pros:

This Paradore is exceptional perched on a hillside overlooking Malaga, this setting is equally matched and excels in quality food, staff and rooms, there is a pool for these warm times
We always come here and our expectations are always meet by all staff from reception through to the dining - we stay half board, and the household present a quality service at all times - this is why we contuinally return to this parador

Lovely hotel - very poor service

The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable-fabulous views from the hotel

Cons:

The service was truly terrible - breakfast was poor and the staff frequently bought dishes we hadn't ordered or didn't bother at all - there are more staff on the front desk than in the breakfast room or at the bar

Pros:

Magnificent views, quality room facilities, spacious and comfortable, inviting public spaces like the bar area, very pleasant and peaceful place to come back to after a hectic day

Cons:

The walk into town is steep, do-able for the young and fit which not everyone is. In heat it is quite a trial. There is a public bus service. Otherwise it's taxis.

Beautiful views
Pros:

Beautiful views. The views of the plaza de toros, sea and Malaga are stunning. The rooms are lovely and big. The reception staff were excellent and helpful. However, if you want to easily get into the centre of town, it isn’t a great location. It is a 30minute walk down. And too hot to walk back. Taxis are about €10. Worth staying there once for the beautiful views, but in future I would rather stay somewhere more central. Service at the bar was incredibly slow. On a Saturday night there seemed to be only 1 person working

Beautiful views, but that comes with the price of a long walk into town

Das beste ist die Lage mit Blick auf den Hafen von Malaga und die Stadt, Frühstück auf dem Balkon des Restaurants mit dem Blick ist großartig, der Pool ist auch gut . Sogar einen Rasierspiegel gab es hier.
