Bella e anziana struttura, rimodernata senza tuttavia perderne il fascino.
La reception dove nessuno parla italiano, per essendo a pochi km dal confine. Servizio di accoglienza minimale, ma adeguato, in fondo è un 4*.
Colazione discreta, si potrebbe migliorare, servizio al tavolo molto lento, anche a causa del numero alto di ospiti, comprensibile ma non totalmente scusabile. Per i prezzi applicati le camere e i bagni potevano essere più eleganti.

Service in the Restaurant at breakfast very slow
First thing first, we were much happier to stay in Celerina rather than St Moritz as it has a true village feel. The hotel is the only "high rise" in the area.
The hotel was great and the room was very big and well appointed.... so would we go back: YES!! And everything I am going to write afterwards will not changes that opinion, it is just shared in the spirit of improvement.
Now, because it is classed as a palace, I will note the small details that need to be worked on so that it hits all the right notes of a true palace - When we arrived there was no-one to help get the luggages up the stairs (and no, the hotel was not busy so that was not an excuse), all the information pre-filled before arrival did not transfer so we had to do it all again, the reception staff are not super friendly and are just very "neutral" (i cannot recall a warm "hello" or "good day" all throughout our 3 nights stay, and as little eye contact as possible), no drying rack in the otherwise very nice and large bathroom.
But the big minus point was the lack of air conditioning in the room. I know that the Engadin area must not get heat waves regularly but they are more and more frequent and an hotel of this class, and of this price, should have at least a fan on the ceiling. We slept with the windows open trying to keep the curtains closed enough not to be woken up by the early sunshine.
The Cresta Palace Celerina is a beautiful hotel in many ways. We liked everything: the hotel location, facilities such as spa, pool, gym, etc; cleanliness at the hotel, restaurants serving amazing food, delicious breakfast. Above all, we were impressed with services and friendliness of the hotel staff- everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful. The only thing I regret is that I didn’t book a longer stay but we’ll definitely come there again.

Hervorragende Lage,tolles Hotel und gutes Essen
Leider war es nicht möglich,im Voraus das Package mit den 2 Jazzkonzerten und dem Dinner zu buchen-ich musste 8 Tickets via Festival da Jazz direkt bestellen. Vielleicht war dies dem Umstand zuschreiben,dass ich die 2Zimmer/wir hatten 2 Gäste eingeladen/ nicht direkt im Hotel, sondern bei booking.com gebucht hatte?. Diese Auskunft erhielt ich kurz nach der Zimmerbuchung am Hoteltelefon.
An absolutely outstanding stay! Cresta Palace exceeded all the expectations. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly maintained, with a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel welcome every single moment.
The rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. Every detail reflects the hotel's commitment to excellence.
