Wunderschön
Pros:

Freundlichkeit, Nähen zum Stand, das alte Gebäude mit sehr viel Geschichte.

Wir kommen schon sehr viele Jahre immer wieder.

Cons:

In der Hochsaison ist es sehr laut diäurch Autos und Motorradfahrer die ihre Runden drehen.

Das Hotel kann aber nichts dafür.

Ohrstöpsel helfen und alles ist gut.

Это был один из лучших отпусков и мест в жизни, а мы много где были. Я отмечала свое 40-летие. Получила ровно те эмоции, которые ожидала, и даже больше. Имперская красота, аристркратизм, история в каждой вещи. Когда ты идешь по лестнице, по которой ходили императоры, и смотришь в зеркало 19ого века, которое было когда-то доступно только высшей аристократии и знати, а сейчас доступно простым людям, это удивительно. Вкусная еда, шапманское по утрам. Я, простая девочка, могу прикоснуться к этой роскоши. Отдельное спасибо менеджеру Eva, красивейшей Барби (как мы ее с мужем называли), очень милая и всегда готовая помочь. Устроили мне чудесный сюрприз на ужине, с тортом и фейерверком. В целом, весь персонал очень любезный и улыбчивый. Муж влюбился в спа-зону. В общем, было все восхитительно. Спасибо огромнейшее!!!!

A lovely stay in a beautiful historic hotel with a great location and spa facilities
Pros:

The high ceilings, the spa access included in the stay, the beautiful, palace-like breakfast room, and the excellent location in the heart of Opatija.

Cons:

There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom.

Grand Hotel in Great Place
Pros:

This is a grand old hotel...the oldest in Opatija....it is slightly frayed around the edges but the staff and value of their breakfasts and evening meals more than make up for any decorating need. Bedroom we had was spacious, modern and well equipped. We will be back and Opatija itself has a lovely long promenade, many many lush gardens and beautiful C19th villas.
