Overall, it is a good hotel, and we would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location, the staff were friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a wide and plentiful selection. The room was comfortable, and the beach is very close to the hotel – you only need to cross the road.
Parking is available close to the hotel for an additional fee. Sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach also cost extra, but their use is optional.
There is a nearby pastry shop, Strauss, which offers absolutely delicious cakes. We highly recommend it.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

Cons:

t would be useful to have a drying rack or somewhere in the room to hang wet swimsuits. The wooden windows also seem to need some repair or replacement.
We travelled with our dog and informed the hotel in advance. The charge was €30 per day, which in itself would not have been a problem. However, unlike in some other hotels, no dog bed or water bowl was provided. This was not a major issue for us, as we had brought our own.
What we found more disappointing was that our room was not cleaned because we had a dog. Considering that we were paying an additional €30 per day for the dog, we did not find it appropriate that regular room cleaning was not provided.
There was also a bonus card in the room, which we hung on the door as instructed. Unfortunately, it was not completed by the hotel, so we were unable to use it at the nearby Strauss pastry shop.

Hotel ima neugodan miris kanalizacije. Vecera izuzetno siromasna. Nema svoju plazu, nema otvoren bazen. Ko zeli da sjedi u sobi, hotel je prihvatljiv

Pros:

Priestranna izba, hotel v centre diania, lokalita napriek tomu pokludna a cista. Obchodiky kvalitne naokolo a vybrane restauracie v okoli, prakticka poloha.

Pros:

The assistance from Reception, was excellant. We had a room overlooking the bay you can sit on the balcony. The Hotel is in excellant location. Parking was also nearby. Breakfast buffet 10/10.

Pros:

Het is een echt hotel met de uitstraling van vroeger. Bijna vergane glorie. Als je daar mee om kan gaan ruik je de grandeur van vroeger. Maar een goed functionerend systeem qua parkeren , personeel, wellness en eten en drinken. Opatija ligt in een baai met alle voordelen die het toerisme biedt: stranden, restaurants, historie , de beroeme Lungomare (wel lopen !!) . De combi van luxe met vertier was zeer goed.

Cons:

Het is qua parkeren en auto rijden eigenlijk niet ideaal. Neem de bus en/of de taxi.

Der Strand ist sehr schön und sauber

Cons:

Das Hotel ist sehr ungepflegt und dreckig, überall Spinnennetze, Haare auf dem Boden im Bad und Zimmer schon bei der Ankunft, die Klimaanlage ist eine reine Katastrophe, Teile gebrochen und teilweise lose nur raufgestellt. Fenster dreckig, überall Staub auf den Kästen. Im Speiseraum hat immer etwas gefehlt, entweder Löffel oder Salz und Pfeffer oder die Kaffeemaschine war zum ausleerren um die sich keiner gekümmert hat, bis man sie darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat. Das Essen war immer nur lauwarm und wurde nicht rechtzeitig aufgefüllt. Es wurde das gleiche Essen wie zum Beispiel der Rindsbraten zwei Tage angeboten. Für ein Hotel mit 4 Sternen sehr sehr schwach. Totale Enttäuschung. Das einzige was uns gefreut hat ist es Frau Zdenka zu treffen, sie war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, danke Zdenka.
