A security hold of USD $100 per night will be authorized on the credit card provided at check in and will be released at check-out if no charges are incurred during the stay. The Presidential Suite is for residential purposes only and can sleep a total of 2 guests. A minimum damage deposit of $500 USD will be required. Prior approval from the General Manager is required for any in-room external entertainment, catered events or filming in the Presidential Suite (a Food and Beverage minimum will be added to the room rate). Any damages incurred during the stay will be charged to the guest’s credit card.

Pros:

Para quem quer ficar perto da Times Square e do Central Park, a localização é ótima! Tem muitas opções de restaurantes, lojas e linhas de metrô. Os atendentes que levam as malas são muito gentis. O único ponto negativo da recepção é uma senhora que trabalha no check in/check out… mal-humorada, cheia de ironias e não faz a mínima questão de ajudar em nada que o hóspede precise!

Cons:

Os quartos são antigos e a limpeza deixa muito a desejar! Ficamos dias sem que arrumassem o quarto e sem troca de toalhas!

Lighting in the bathroom was extremely dim. Had to get a small desk lamp from the reception and then it didn’t have a place to sit so I taped it to the mirror in the bathroom. Was NOT good function but at least I could see better

La ubicación es muy buena. Hay botellas de agua de cortesía en la entrada del hotel todos los días. sto es un gran detalle. Nos dieron paraguas cuando ha llovido, de cortesia tambien.No cobran la recepcion de paquetes de Amazon, gran detalle.

Cons:

Para mejorar: La habitación contaba con solo una mesa de noche, siendo una cama matromonial. Se necesitan 2 mesas si o si. Hubiese estado de maravilla tener un hervidor de agua para preparar té y una maquina de café. El Roof top no estuvo habilitado. Pondria mas luz en el espejo de la habitació, la chicas la necesitamos para maquillarnos.

There was a mold smell in the room and it was pricey. That might have had more to do with fifa but it was still higher then other hotels I was looking at but again great location for what we wanted to see.

Great Stay 4th of July Weekend
Pros:

We had a great stay at Dream Midtown. Our suite was very large, and having two bathrooms was a huge plus. The room had plenty of space, including two TVs, a couch, a table to eat at, a refrigerator, and comfortable beds.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our air conditioner, and they fixed it immediately—we didn’t have to wait at all. We also brought our bikes with us, and it was a non-issue, which made coming and going really easy.

The hotel also has a nice dedicated area in front for loading and unloading, so getting our luggage and bikes in and out of the car was very simple. We were even able to find free street parking nearby, which was a great bonus.

I had seen some reviews mention that the decor felt outdated, but that wasn’t really our impression. The hotel definitely has a specific boutique style, with wallpaper, patterns, and colorful details, so it may not be for someone looking for a very plain or minimalist hotel room. To us, it felt more like part of the hotel’s personality than a negative.

The location was very convenient, close to Central Park, near lots of things to do, and with the subway right around the corner. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend it.

Good location.

Cons:

I booked this property specifically because it has a rooftop terrace. When we got there, the terrace was closed for renovation, but that was not stated on the booking site. There was also supposed to be a refrigerator. I had to throw away food that I brought with me.
