Wonderful boutique on scenic canal
Pros:

Rare find today - a small (6 room) family owned bed and breakfast. The decor was fabulous and my room was very comfortable and spacious (for Amsterdam!) The breakfast was made to order and very generous. The cocktail bar team was also so helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Cons:

The location is at the very edge of the red light district, so I just walked different routes to avoid some of that. Nothing to do with the hotel itself, and they were very helpful in every way.

Pros:

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were very cozy, with a huge and incredibly comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom stocked with high-quality toiletries.

The breakfasts were delicious and conveniently served downstairs every morning. A special mention goes to the cozy and atmospheric bar with its creative signature cocktails — it became the perfect place to start each of our evenings.

This hotel has a truly unique vibe: stylish, welcoming, comfortable, and full of character. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great location, a warm atmosphere, and attention to every detail. The friendly and hospitable hosts made our stay even more memorable.

Pros:

Large canal side room on the first floor over a charming bar where we had a drink or two each night. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

Cons:

Room is a bit dated but is clean and large - not complaining, but just do not expect perfection!

Above and beyond the lovely room, great location, etc, the owners and staff were fantastic.
Pros:

Our room was lovely. Location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious

Cons:

I didn't mind the steps to our room. I had previously seen photos and thought it was well worth it.

Perfect, cosy, welcoming place to stay in Amsterdam, with exceptional staff and hospitality!
Pros:

Beautiful, boutique room, which was comfy and spacious. Loved the decor, and the condiments were refilled daily.
The breakfast was amazing! The cocktail bar is really special, unique and lovely atmosphere. We were treated so well by the staff, like individuals, and they were all so friendly and naturally kind and good at what they do. This perfect place was in the perfect location, with so much in easy walking distance. We will stay here again!

Das Frühstück war ausggezeichnet, obwohl es immer dasselbe gab.

Cons:

Die Fenster sind wie in England, wenn sie geschlossen sind hört man von der Strasse her jedes Wort und es zieht hinein.

Eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Allein die Bar ist ein Erlebnis, sehr leckere, ungewöhnliche Cocktails, die Mitarbeiter erklären gern alles. Die Zimmer sind mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Angenehm: Wasserkocher, Tee und Kaffee und gratis Minibar. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, viele Geschäfte und Restaurants. Das Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert, sehr leckerer Kaffee, dazu Granoa, Yoghurt, Brot, Croissant, Butter, Tomaten, Marmelade, Köse und Eier nach Wahl. Ich werde diese Unterkunft gern erneut buchen.

Cons:

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, entsprechend belebt und nachts sehr laut. Mich hat das nicht gestört, aber nicht jedem helfen Ohrstöpsel. Es ist ein altes Haus, d.h. alles eher klein und die Treppe extrem steil. Die Mitarbeiter kümmern sich zum Glück um das Gepäck.
