Pros:

The views from the balcony and surrounding the hotel were exquisite. Very nice bar area & terrace, rooms were comfortable, and the whirlpool baths are a fantastic feature after a long day of walking.

Cons:

I didn’t think the breakfast was good value at 19 CHF per person, per day. I didn’t fancy much on offer at the buffet, but got myself a coffee, a croissant, and a bowl of corn flakes on two mornings. I should have checked prices beforehand, but the 38 franc charge at checkout was a bit of a shock.

We checked out at 11am on Monday and returned to the hotel in the early afternoon. Trying to kill some time before our 10pm flight, we decided to go for a swim in the hotel pool, but were denied access as we had already checked out. This left a sour taste to an otherwise delightful stay.

God udsigt over bjergene. Man kan også klatre alene Klettersteig via Ferrata. Der er altid nogle der klatre

L'accueil sympathique dans toutes les langues possibles. La finition de la chambre et son emplacement . Le jacuzzi qui sort de la chambre sur la terrasse et la vue

Pros:

Stunning location and a great base for in and around Kandersteg.
Staff were fantastic and the rooms were very quaint and cosy!

Cons:

As we did go at a quieter time, breakfast was very limited for the price and other guests were very noisy at night and very early morning, dogs barking in rooms next to us at 4am etc but not a fault of the hotels

Pros:

Loved the pool and how close it was to the hiking trails! The staff were helpful and friendly, and the balcony was nice too!

We hadden een appartement. De keuken is summier ingericht. Ik heb eerste het servies afgewassen.

Cons:

De prijs voor het appartement vinden wij niet in verhouding voor wat je krijgt. Misschien ligt de prijs-kwaliteit in Zwitersland anders dan in andere landen.
