Elegant, charming and friendly.

Beautiful château! Beautiful décor!
Very friendly staff who were very accommodating.
Our room for 3 adults was very spacious, comfortable, air conditioned, equipped with electric shutters and nicely decorated. It was located in the annexe which was made very clear at the time of booking, but we were able to enjoy the “château experience” by being encouraged to use the library and the main dinning room whenever we wanted. The pool and garden area was very clean and peaceful.
Although, there is no restaurant on site, we were able to order a lovely charcuterie and cheese board, croque-monsieur and chips, and a Château Meyre bottle of wine at cave price!
Excellent wine tour with patient and knowledgeable staff.

Prachtige wijnervaring in de Medoc!
Pros:

Prachtige locatie, vriendelijk personeel, eigenlijk alles wat je zoekt in de Medoc.

Cons:

In de avond is het wel heel rustig.

Nettes Hotel in ruhiger Lage im Weingut
Pros:

Sehr schöne Anlage mitten im Weingut. Schöner Pool. Grosses und sehr ruhiges Zimmer mit bequemem Bett. Gutes Frühstück und freundliches Personal. Die Strasse hinter dem Château mit etwas Verkehr konnten wir nicht hören (Fenster eh geschlossen, da bei unserem Besuch Hitzewelle und Raum gut klimatisiert). Eine Autofahrt zu Lacanau-Océan lohnt sich (Sandstrände und schöne Wellen). Hinfahrt von Royan mit Fähre ebenfalls empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Leider keine Gastronomie im Château und speziell an Montagen sind mittlere bis längere Fahrten zu den nächsten Restaurants nötig.

Pros:

Très agréable séjour au Château Meyre. La chambre était spacieuse, très bien équipée, climatisée et parfaitement au calme. Le château est entouré d'un magnifique parc, vaste et très bien entretenu, qui invite à la détente. La piscine extérieure était particulièrement agréable, idéale pour se rafraîchir et se relaxer. Enfin, l'accueil a été chaleureux, attentif et d'une grande qualité de service. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons avec plaisir.

Nettes Chateaux-Hotel mit schönem Garten
Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber
Schönes, modernes Badezimmer
kleine Snackkarte für abends (ermöglicht spontanes Essen in der Unterkunft)
Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal und persönlicher Service

Cons:

Frühstück war sehr spärlich (Preis jedoch 20EUR!!)

Poolbereich eher lieblos eingerichtet/ausgestattet (viel zu wenig Schatten, lotterige Sonnenschirme, wenig Liegen)

Pros:

A very relaxed atmosphere with incredibly warm and patient hosts. We arrived quite late—past 10 PM—yet they waited patiently for us; they even provided extra bedding when we added an extra person at the last minute. It was a fantastic experience.

Istaba bija pasakaina, īsta muižas sajūta.
Izcili ātrs serviss drēbju mazgāšanai.

Parkā ir milzīgs magnolijas koks - bijām tieši uz ziedēšanas laiku , pasakaina pieredze !

Baseins nav liels, bet tieši tik , cik vajag.

Muižā ir tikai 9 numuri, bijām divas dienas un praktiski nesatikām citus iemītniekus - bija sajūta, ka īrējam muižu sev.

Te nav restorāna, bet var dabūt brokastis un uzkodas/vieglas vakariņas, ja pieteiksiet laicīgi (tāpat, ja vēlaties vīnu un šampanieti).

Apkalpe atsaucīga, cenšas. Ne viss vienmēr sanāk, bet tas jau ir cits stāsts.

Cons:

Mazliet piekliboja apkalpošana. Puisis bija ļoti atsaucīgs, bet piemirsās lietas un atsevišķi servisi bija ilgi jāgaida.

Vīna darītavas tūre un tastings ir viduvēja pieredze, vismaz mums tā bija. Citur apkaimē piedzīvojām daudz labāku.
