Very helpful staff (who kindly allowed me to practice my faltering German on them!) Excellent location within easy walking distance of the train station and the town centre. Very good restaurant.
Innenstadtnahe Lage des Hotels mit kurzen Wegen zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.
Exzellente Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen: Zimmer, Frühstücksraum, Restaurant, Schwimmbad und Sauna.
Personal ohne Tadel: freundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, an der Rezeption, beim Frühstück, im Restaurant und auch der Zimmerservice.
Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet.
Besonders erwähnenswert fanden wir, dass das Halbpensionsmenu (Gruß aus der Küche, Brot/Butter, 4 Gänge) nachträglich tageweise in Anspruch genommen werden konnte; sehr gutes Essen zu einem mit 29 €/Person wirklich fairem Preis und keine Wiederholung während unseres 10-tägigen Aufenthalts.
Reservierter Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage 15 €/Tag.

This hotel was lovely! The accommodations were amazing and the staff was wonderful! We had an early flight out with a bit of a drive to the airport and they packed lunch for our family since we would be missing breakfast! The location is great as well and within walking distance to the beautiful town. We would definitely stay again! Wonderful experience!

Friendly welcome which always sets things off on a positive note. We reserved a parking place in the secure garage and didn't mind the Euro 15 charge per night as it guaranteed somewhere to park. It's a charming hotel with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We made a last minute decision to take the Zugspitze trip as the weather was clear. The reception staff booked our tickets while we had breakfast which was great as it saved us time and meant we could catch an earlier train. The breakfast is excellent and the half board dinner menu is good value for hotel guests and we genuinely enjoyed most of the dishes although a couple weren't to our taste. The negatives for us were being given a room which was both over the bar and near the road. The bar wasn't a problem however the road noise was a problem for us especially as the rooms aren't air-conditioned and we had to open the window at night. Particularly disappointing as we booked directly with the hotel and almost six months ago.

Nothing
Small hotel that simply had a nice feel about it. The multilingual staff were very welcoming and happy to help. The room was large enough but we still found the bathroom in our particular room a bit small. Nothing to ruin our stay or anything like that. The room was a little hot even though outside temperatures at night were cool, which caused us to leave the French doors open for air. This worked well but unfortunately our room was on the driveway (to guest parking) side of the hotel so there was a bit of noise from the restaurant below us as they cleaned up etc after closing, and a few cars coming and going.
The breakfast was very good but the dinner in the restaurant was excellent, especially since hotel guests get a very good deal for 4 courses in the half-board option. Eating here is a must do in my opinion.
Hotel placement was off the main road and close for an easy walk into the town where there are plenty of other eating options and shopping.
All in all a great stay and we would stay again if returning to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We never got time to do Zugspitze but we did do the gorge hike, which we really enjoyed. Great little town.
The service was wonderful. Our family of four really enjoyed the experience. The afternoon complimentary snacks were a highlight. It was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and provided great service. The E bikes were a great addition to our stay to be able to maneuver around town. Overall highly recommend staying here.
