Please note that the parking garage is located 492 feet from the property. It is not suitable for cars higher than 83 inches. FREE PARKING IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR THE DOUBLE ROOMS; FOR THE SINGLE ROOMS THE PARKING PLACE IS ON PAYMENT(about 1,60 EUR/HOUR at the nearby municipal car park); REASON: HOTEL HAS MANY PARKING PLACES AS THERE ARE THE DOUBLE ROOMS; Self check-in service can be arranged for arrivals after 22:00. Excellent location on the main lakefront area, accessible to everything. Parking is available in the public garage, a short walk away. The parking process involves first parking in the lot on the lakefront, getting a paper ticket upon entering (There are temporary spaces outside of the lot on the entrance road that you may be able to park in to avoid entering the lot). Go to the hotel with your luggage and get a plastic parking card for the parking garage from the hotel for €20 per day, return to move your car to the parking garage across the street. To get out of the lot, tell the parking attendant that you are staying at the hotel for him to open the gate so that you don’t have to pay for temporary parking. Move your car to the garage across the street and go up the ramp at the back of the garage to the 2nd floor and park in one of the many spaces designated for Hotel Sole. The process is somewhat involved, but worth it.
The room was relatively large with ample space for our luggage; we had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. There is an elevator (lift) to get to the 2nd and 3rd floors were the rooms are located above the restaurant. The room had a lounge chair, small desk w/chair, ample number of electrical outlets, TV, WIFI, small refrigerator and safe. The large double bed was comfortable.
The breakfast dining area in the restaurant on the ground floor was nice. The breakfast buffet had the usual items of marginal quality.
The low rating is for the following reasons; however, the location and parking outweigh the negatives and would not prevent me from recommending this hotel or staying here again. The hotel receptionist does not arrive until 3:00 SHARP, not a minute before. The reception desk is at the back of the restaurant. You need to see the restaurant cashier if you arrive before 3:00 to get your parking pass. She is extremely rude and unfriendly, apparently, she doesn’t like this task, possibly because we didn’t speak Italian and she didn’t speak English. She does not check you into your room; you must wait until 3:00 when the receptionist arrives: however, he was friendly and helpful. The room had a musty order I assume from humidity, at first, we thought it was a smoking room because they had an ash tray in the room. The cleaning lady said that the room was non-smoking and that the ashtray was for smoking on the outside balcony. The décor of the room and hallways is very dated. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The bathroom was small with a small walk-in shower that may not be suitable for larger people, there was no vanity or shelf area to put your toiletry items, and the shampoo/body wash was low quality in plastic packets. Not a big negative but be aware that European hotels don’t provide wash clothes, and shampoo and conditioners are often limited, or of poor quality, we bring our own.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and very responsive. The view was fabulous - couldn't be better. Nice central location, easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go.
Some plants around the balcony railing would help a lot with the lack of privacy out there, and would improve the aesthetic appeal of the hotel as well :) We were on the upper floor, and none of the balconies had plants.
The shower was truly tiny - we would definitely prioritise that next time..
