Oear top of hill, Dont like heights, But Great veiw
Hotel felt very safe even though the general area is not the best. A hidden gem on the side of Signal Hill with views you cant find anywhere else. Very neat and tidy, staff were very friendly. Free parking was a plus.
From my room I could hear guests arriving and leaving. Noise from inside the hotel seems to echo. Overall it wasn't a lot, and didn't bother me too much. Note that you can't walk from the hotel into town, an Uber is better due to safety reasons.

The lodge overall is a good stay but our 3rd time booking there was not that pleasant.
I've booked the exact room as before but got a different room and I wasn't impressed by it.
And on top the water was luke warm we didn't enjoy our showers.
I've called the receptionist to complain about it and she had a long explanation how the taps must be used but we never had these issues when we booked previously.
Then they wanted to send someone to come and look at the problem while we in the room... What happened to privacy... But moving us to a different room was not evens a suggestion.
Thinking we've done what they said running the taps it will be better in the morning... Nope the water was still luke warm...
To be honest the night 9th September and morning staff (reception) 10th September was not helpful with our complaint.
