Great hotel, would come back.
Pros:

It is a very large hotel with really nice rooms (albeit a bit dated) and a lovely restaurant with some nice outside space. There’s a car park too which is handy. The hotel has a long history which is also interesting. Food was great.

Cons:

Whilst on the first morning breakfast came pretty quickly, we ended up waiting over an hour for breakfast to come on the second day, when it finally did come it wasn’t fully correct order either (we didn’t ask to fix it to avoid further delay as unfortunately this did make us late for our plans for the day). The hotel is also old so a little bit of a rabbits warren, if you need an accessible room or struggle with even just a little set of stairs it’s worth mentioning when booking as some of the rooms still require a small set of stairs even after using the lift.

We only made a travel stop, but it was a very good choice.
Pros:

We were made to feel welcome on arrival. We were very pleased with our room, which was very comfortable. The dinner menu was varied, and the quality of food was very good.

Cons:

It wasn't the fault of the Hotel, but directions to the car park could have been much clearer. We had difficulty finding the car park, even though we were within a fer metres of the Hotel.

Miellyttävä ja lämmin kokonaisuus.
Pros:

The stay would have been good had it not been for the poor experience in the restaurant
Pros:

Location and friendly Staff

Cons:

I had booked a table for 7 people in the restaurant for 8 o’clock on the Saturday of that stay. The food and the service was poor. The selection of food was poor as lots of choices had run out or were not available. This was not mentioned when ordering. The service was also very slow.
