Lovely staff, very efficent and helpful.Room was excellent as it was large , spacious ,nicely furnished and really clean.Had an evening meal in the hotel thar was very tasty and excellent value. The breakfast was top quality and really well prepared and served.Had a really enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to return to this high quality hotel.
I cannot fault anything about our stay. It was really pleasant.
Breakfast was ok but nothing special for the price
We previously when booking advised of a pet and a disability which was confirmed by the hotel with the confirmation email but was ignored when we checked in as the room had been allocated ignoring this.
Location in the centre of Town. Lovely room and staff
Problem with room toilet not flushing properly this was sorted ASAP and we were offered a free breakfast which was delicious 😋
We didn’t like anything. The room was £175 and supposedly deluxe. It was filthy, with dirt around the toilet lid, a a filthy broken fan, stained carpet, spiders and cobwebs. The noise in the street was terrible. We looked outside and saw a woman squatting and urinating in the street directly below the window. The room was ferociously hot and the windows don’t open properly.
Worst of all was the bed. It sloped to one side. We complained and were offered a refund but at nearly midnight after a long journey we decided to try and make do. We stuffed cushions under the mattress to try and level it. That was before we saw the dirt and heard the noise. We ended up leaving at 1am and going to a different hotel. In 30 years of travel, I’ve never left a hotel in the middle of the night- that’s how bad this place is.
Beautiful hotel in prime location, our room was amazing and really had the wow factor.
Our bed was huge and super comfy.
Check in was quick and easy and the staff are exceptional. Parking was onsite, unusual for a town centre location. Very reasonably priced for the quality of establishment and the breakfast was delicious. Would recommend to all!
Nothing to dislike!
If I had to comment on anything it’s that there was only one double socket in our very large room (none at all by the bed) and no air con. Other than that, just perfect 😊
