Die Lage ist sehr gut.

Cons:

Die Dame am Empfang ist sehr lieblos und unpersönlich. Da waren wir anderes gewöhnt.

Das Bad ist schlecht. Keine Handtuchhalter am Waschbecken. Der Halter von Klopapier ist über dem Spülkasten. Da musste man sich immer sehr stark verdrehen.
Sehr schlecht die Dusche. Das Wasser Tropfen nur ein wenig heraus.

Der Preis ist für diese Leistung überzogen.
Das nahegelegene Primary Inn kostet etwa genausoviel und bietet mehr, vor allem auch beim Frühstück.

Pros:

Good location 15 minute walk into town.. nice quiet area away from traffic.
Nice lounge room with all the amenities that you need including parking on site..
Great breakfast and not rushed to do anything.

Cons:

Beds were a little hard, you could feel the divan through the mattress..

Disappointed
Pros:

Nice quiet location close to the centre. friendly helpful staff, and I appreciated that we were able to leave luggage on arrival in York rather than have to carry it around until check in time.

Cons:

Small cramped room with barely enough space to walk between single bed and huge table. Even on a relatively cool wet day the room was uncomfortably warm and there was no way to open a window.
Breakfast was one of the worst I've had with pretty much everything undercooked.

Pros:

well, vicki was awesome. she was very informative and very nice. the room was clean and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. love the high ceilings, beautiful windows, great parking area and the security was done well. while the shower was good, there was a very slow drainage issue that i informed them on the way out. i'm sure they will take care of it. the beds on the other hand were horrrrrrible. they need to be changed six months ago. i/we felt every spring, it sunk down to the box spring and was actually noisy. worst part of the hotel. the breakfast good but i don't know why it took 45 to serve me a small yorkshire breakfast. the rest of the staff were on it and did there job well too. the location was about a 10 minute walk to the arch of the city wall and the beginning of the main area with some history, places to eat and drink and shops........................oh so many shops. over all a cool place to stay and if they change those beds i'd give this place a higher score. thanks

Great place to stay while visiting York!
Pros:

Quiet, comfortable room on a tree-lined street. Great breakfast, with some options cooked to order. Nice amenities in room for storage and organization. Friendly staff, and property is convenient to walking to town and tourist sites. Car park on property. Great value for the money.
