Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Man kann sehr viele Ziele gut zu Fuß erreichen. Rund um das Hotel gibt es viele Restaurants, Frühstücks- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft freundlich empfangen.
Zuerst waren wir etwas enttäuscht, dass sich unser Zimmer im Untergeschoss befand. Bei der großen Hitze Ende Mai stellte sich dies später als großer Pluspunkt heraus. Da man die Fenster im Zimmer nicht öffen kann, besitzt dieses Zimmer eine Klimaanlage.
Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Jedes Bett hat Nachttische, Nachttischlampen und USB-Steckdosen.
Auf Wunsch wird das Zimmer gereinigt.
Das Badezimmer ist gut ausgestattet. Störend empfanden wir; dass die Farbe von der Decke blättert, die Abluft wenig Wirkung zeigt und die Fugen teilweise nicht gefüllt waren. Es sollte dringend in Stand gesetzt werden. Dann wäre es sehr schön.
Im Zimmer befindet sich ein Sessel. Wenn man das Kissen entfernt, sieht man, dass er sehr fleckig ist.

The location is good.
The room we got was up under the roof and the heat waves were just right there when we visited. The cleaning was extremely poor. Seems like they never dusted the room at all. We had to use hygiene wipes to clean and disinfecte some shelves and table where we put our things to keep them clean. They wipes were black from dirt, fat, and dust!!! So the whole time we were in the room, we had to breathe that dust in 😮💨😷😮💨
The doors in the shower cabin were hanging on one upper rail, the down one was misplaced. So the doors were partially hanging in the air. It wasn't very comfortable taking a shower with a feeling that the door could fall on you any minute now.
One of the things we didn't like they they put the service tray on the floor. Right there where folks go and help yourself with a drink. Some people even hit the trays with their shoes. (You'll see that in the last photo) And after that they pick a tray and bring you your breakfast on it. After seeing that, we stopped asking for a cooked breakfast. Had some toast with jam and coffee with apple juice.
It wasn't a nice experience to be honest. Having your breakfast with some people's shoes dust or dirt. 🤮🤮🤮

El baño un poco justo en general, la ducha se supone que era de hidromasaje, pero no se podían poner los chorros al mismo tiempo porque disminuia la presión de la ducha. Además el mango estaba roto cuando llegamos, aunque lo arreglaron en cuanto lo notificamos.
Quiet and walking distance to bigger spots. Victorian style. For the price, it does what you need. A place to rest and recover for the day ahead.
Although the building is dated, which is fine and part of the appeal, it could upgrade a bit on the inside for quality of life.

Centrally located small hotel close to Russell Square and the British Museum; right next to UCL. If you get lucky and get a room to the back/garden, the is the perfect place to stay! :-)
The rooms and bathrooms are very small (but of course: it's central London). We had asked to get a second sheet and a second blanket, as we are not used to sleeping under one. When we arrived there was only one sheet and blanket; and when I asked the lady at the reception again whether we could kindly get a second sheet and a second blanket, she was rather unfriendly. We ended up sleeping under one sheet/blanket. It was only one lady, however; the other employees we met were very friendly.

I like the location and I've stayed in those hotels for years.
It was ungodly hot, even with a ceiling fan. A regular desktop fan would have helped. And there was an awful rhythmic electronic buzzing all night so loud I had to use earplugs. Also the light switches give off so8ch light that they really need some kind of shade of cover. Finally, no one ever attempted to refresh my room. Not once. So I had one used teacup, an overflowing trash bin, etc. This was a 3 night stay and on the first day I left late, but on the 2nd day I left early and expected to find my room at least attended to briefly. It was not.
Struttura molto carina, la stanza che ci è stata data era davvero piccolissima però accogliente. Molto apprezzata la colazione, davvero buona e molto varia!
Mancava l’aria condizionata, per quanto ci fossero stati dati due ventilatori faceva comunque troppo caldo in camera
The location
The main room was fine, the issue was with the shower/bathroom. The shower was tiny and you could barely move in it. It was poorly ventilated so it smelled damp all the time. There was black dust and mould on the ventilation fan as well which didn’t help.
staff friendly and helpful with a lovely garden to the rear - a real bonus in the hot weather !
A/C beats the large fan built into the ceiling which whilst good can't compete in very hot conditions.
Location friendly staff easy check in breakfast included both continental & cooked.😀
There was a strong musty smell when entering the bedroom- however the smell dispersed as soon as the windows were open there was a fan which I used too. The bedroom was nicely decorated beds were very comfortable and tea/coffee was offered tv and ensuite bathroom all in good.working order Shower was nice and hot the complimentrary toiletries were a nice touch!!

Las camas eran muy chicas para 4 personas.
Hotel is in a great location. Staff were very friendly and explained how to enter / exit out of normal hours so I was assured I could get back in later in the night. Room was small but pleasant
The bathroom was a little dated and extremely small - I think that could be clearer when advertised. The TV was also very dated so couldn't use any apps etc on there - again would be good to make that clear

Die Lage zwischen Euston und St. Pancrass ist ideal. Zudem Univiertel mit guten Kneipen und ausreichenden Essensmöglichkeiten. Netter Frühstücksraum.
Schlechter Kaffee aus der Maschine. Wir hatten zu Beginn ein Zimmer mit schiefstehendem Bett (Nr.15), welches wir zum Glück noch tauschen konnten. Die Zimmer sind wohl alle sehr klein. Kein Lift.
