Nice place but guests could be thought of more to justify the price.
Pros:

The room was well appointed, but you can't really sit on the balcony and the room was very dark. There were no extras available for free in the room; everything had a price. The only free thing was the coffee and milk. One good thing was the wellness space; it is not manned and although it is quite small it does have a sauna and pool. On a busy day though it would be overwhelmed.

Cons:

The restaurants couldn't be used on site; they were short staffed and people waited for ridiculous times. We gave up.

The Karel V is a wonderful place to stay with lovely accommodations and centrally located.
Pros:

Upon arrival we were notified that we had been upgraded to the 4th flr in the main building and the accommodations upon entry were amazing. Spacious, comfortable, and lovely bathroom. The staff were as friendly as could be always at the ready with a suggestion for dinner or whatever adventure type we were seeking. The locations was perfect for accessing town as well as the railway station.

Cons:

There was nothing we did not like or would recommend to do better. Our expectations were met or exceeded in each category.

Niezależnie od wszystkiego uważam pobyt za udany.
Pros:

Główną zaletą hotelu jest jego lokalizacja. Praktycznie kilka kroków i jesteś w centrum Utrechtu. Hotel z zewnątrz robi atrakcyjne wrażenie. Z tyłu hotelu ładny dziedziniec z dobrze utrzymaną i różnorodną zielenią.

Cons:

Byłem w wielu hotelach w Utrechcie i przyznaje z dużym rozczarowaniem, że śniadania były jedne z gorszych z jakimi do tej pory spotkałem się w Utrechcie. Bardzo uboga oferta w której nie było świeżych owoców, świeżych warzyw (pomidorów, ogórków) i wielu innych które powinny być w takim hotelu. Proszę się nie dziwić takiej opinii, bo jak na 5 gwiazdek spodziewałem się absolutnie czegoś innego. Przy takim standardzie, zwracam też uwagę na niezbyt czystą windę, ilość i jakość kosmetyków oraz opłatę parkingową. Gdyby to był hotel 4-ro gwiazdkowy nie miałbym żadnych negatywnych uwag, ale 5 gwiazdek jednak do czegoś powinno zobowiązywać.

Geweldig mooi en gezellig hotel
Pros:

Prachtige kamer, brandschoon, heerlijke badkamer, super vriendelijk personeel, goede wegwijzering binnen hotel. Verder ideale ligging, 5 a 8 min loopafstand van centrum, 3 min afstand voor ontbijt (zondagochtend). Koffers worden voor je naar de kamer gebracht terwijl je het centrum in bent.

Cons:

Ontbijt is duur, voor iemand als ik met een gastric bypass die voor krap 10 euro kan eten, is het te duur.
